Andy,
Farmers our not rich by all means. They are working class individuals. Most of the farm land in west Tennessee or any other state is land that has been kept in a family trust that can never be bought. Those farmers are called share croppers. They farm the land that another family owns and pay to rent the ground to farm it. Look up on the internet how sharecroppers make their money. The people that are getting away to pay little takes at all are the individuals that work for the united States government or make make money that no one in west Tennessee could or even try. Instead complaing about farmers look at the classes working class middle class upper class ect. Do not think at all that the farmers don't get screwed because will all do. I could be wrong but I think the working class are the ones that make the least and pay out more
whatever

Sandy doesn't have a damn clue as to how farmers operate. In fact, he knows nothing about the free market or business at all.

Sandy, you were okay with Obama bailing out General Motors to save the UAW's jobs & yet you attack farmers? Who is more necessary for America? A few overpaid UAW workers or farmers who provide for all of us? Right now GM is issuing yet another recall due to quality & safety issues!

GM got a few billion, farmers got $1,000,000,000,000.00 BIG difference, GM pays decent livable wages, that money has already been paid back with interest to the American tax payer., FARMERS for the most part don't even pay minimum wages, esp in your rwnut southern red slave state. Look around you, find it is very depressing in west Tennessee due to the rwnuts that lead the state. ALL they do is look for freebies from the blue states....what a hoot

Andy I like how you are cutting down farmers. Maybe you should thank them instead. I do not hear you complaining about all the people sitting at home drawing free money every month. You know that comes out of you pocket too right.
I am not cutting down farmers I'm cutting down the welfare money they receive from my taxes, my folks farmed in west TN and earned a BIG whopping 75 cents per day back in the day, in 1959 I earned 40 cents an hour working for farmers that received subsidies just for letting their fields lay bare, I have no sympathy for the billionaire farmers that suck up huge subsidies. The farmers in TN work young folks to death for pennies yet receive $$$$$$$$$ from my taxes. Thats wrong.

A "few billion"? Really? How about anywhere from over TEN BILLION? Now add it the record number of recalls and lawsuits and we'll probably be stuck with that since Obama will likely shield them from huge losses. GM was bailed out solely due to the UAW- farmers receive assistance b/c they provide a must for people not only in this country but also abroad. Besides, the number of farmers shrinks every year & yet they become more efficient each year. GM meanwhile produces junk cars that endanger passengers.

Sandy, it's obvious you can't actually debate using facts so I'll leave you to play with your blocks in your basement. If you keep acting up I'm going to tell your mother to not give you any Jello today. So go take a nap & play nice & mama might give you some Jello and cookies.
