I am very sorry for the poor little innocent children tht died in this horrible fire and the little 5yr old and his father who are in the hospital as well. And I have no idea how this fire started or what exactly happened but in reading the paper I can't help but to wonder and get angry at the fact that the 'mother' was outside and perfectly fine when fire fighters arrived and started rescuing the occupants. Why in the hell was she not inside tht house trying to save her babies or why didn't she already have them outside with her when fire fighters arrived? If my children were inside a burning house, I would not care if the entire house was up in flames, theres nothing in this world tht could keep me from running back in there to save my babies (and I'm sure thts they way tht 99% of the rest of you feel as well)! So I'd really love to hear from someone who knows, just why in the hell did this lady not save her 4yr old twin baby girls and her 5yr old son????? These babies should not be dead right now! They should be just fine and safe with family members or, in the worst case, recovering at the hosp! I really dont care what this lady's excuse is... theres nothing at all tht can justify her not trying to save her babies! And I don't believe she even tried cuz theres no way in hell tht she would be perfectly fine and not even need a bit of medical attn if she had went in tht house to try to save them!!! I wanna know what exactly she has to say about this because even tho I didn't know any of em... its still so heavy on my heart thinking of these poor children who shld still be here on this earth. Theres no reason they shldnt be alive when their mom got out without any injuries whatsoever and without needing to at least be checked over... no reason at all!!!!!!!!!!

You don't know the circumstances, and you should NOT be judging her actions. The paper may no have included the fact that this mother TRIED to go back into this house for her children repeatedly, but the fire dept. secured her so they could go in with their protective gear. Instead of pointing fingers about a situation you obviously no NOTHING about, how about offering prayers to the family? May God bless and hold them, along with all those involved with their care!!

People like you are what is wrong with this town! You know nothing about this family, the circumstances of the fire, whether or not the mother attempted to enter the house, or if the firefighters prevented her from entry. All you want to do is pass judgment instead of empathy. Have you even thought about how you would feel if you were in her shoes? One day you may be and I feel sorry for you if people judge you the way you are judging her. Grow up. Say a prayer for this family and ask forgiveness for your ignorance.

This is to morn the loss of two innocent lives that where taken from a family way to early in life. Lets leave the bashing for a different time and leave the work of figuring all the mess out to investigators. My prayers are with the family and friends. I know you have been through more then enough in the past two weeks. May God give you the strength and courage to get through this tragedy

NO, Mom was NOT at home when the fire STARTED. Mom came home after the house was in flames, before firemen arrived. I know this for a fact.

My brother was at home with his children as always. He was inseparable from those children. Winfred JR. and SR. are doing well and recovering. Thanks for your concerns and keep us in your prayers.

no the moral of the story is to save your kids at all costs!!! dont be selfish and only care about your own ass and rely on smbdy else to protect/save your babies!!! and THATS whats wrong with this world! selfish ppl who dont give a damn about anyone other than themselves! and to guest(s), ppl like you are whats wrong with this world! clearly yall wld only be concerned with yourself as well instead of making sure your kids were safe no matter what! bottom line is tht there is NO EXCUSE at all for this so-called 'mother' to be standing outside with NOTHING AT ALL wrong with her when the firemen arrived and for her two twin 4yr old baby girls and 5yr old son to be laying inside dying from smoke while shes outside standing around breathing just fine!!!! THTS PATHETIC and i cant believe ur not "STUNNED" ABOUT THT!!!!!!!!!! i feel so sorry for YOUR children... if you even have any. I dont see how any parent at all could do (better yet, NOT do) what she did! a parent's job is to always protect their children at all costs... even if it means giving their own life to save their child's. Anyway, I am done arguing. I just do not understand how any parent cld react tht way. I am praying for the surviving boy. I pray that he will be ok as well as his father. I am also praying for the little 4yr old angels that were taken from this earth way too soon. It kills me inside to hear of any child dying especially when it may could have been prevented.
