Can they hack your computer while on topix?

Generally no. Not without some type of "trojan horse" program on your computer. That's why opening/downloading attachments from e-mails are bad!!
I know some smart azz is gonna say something else, but, most of them watch way too much TV and are FOS.

Someone could hack into the topix servers and network and find out all that they wanted too by inserting a program. Viruses are spread by attachments. Trojans are a type of virus that looks like a normal type of program or an attachment that you also have to click on. Hacking into a system is totally different than what you are thinking. You do not have to click on anything and they still get through. It depends on their methods. And yes it can be done. So please tell me how they hack these corporations and steal information. It is not by a virus.

Also, maybe you should study a little computer hardware and software before you make assumptions. here's a video for you (if you can understand it).

Yup. I have been telling these Turds for years, they can be traced. I guess the haven't made the right person mad enough yet.
I know this video has nothing to do with finding out who strangers are on Topix, but it is a good lesson about programs and good examples about the footprints we leave. I was certainly entertained and I got quite a few chuckles out of it. Thanks!

GrayBack trace me and tell me right where I am now according to my IP address. I'll even help you my IP is 85.237.211.115. Goes to show you just because Topix says someone is in England doesn't mean they aren't behind a proxy. And yes any system can be hacked if it isn't properly locked down but most people (and this isn't a knock against anyone in Dyersburg) in Dyersburg couldn't hack anything if their lives depended on it. And real hackers don't use someone else's scripts to do their work (those tards are script kiddies) Hell most admins can't really hack....
