So in the big picture YOU did evolve from a tadpole... get over it... it's science. So whose stupid now? Guess you missed that in 3rd grade science class.
Note that many people will peer past their caruncles while poised upon their coccyx and deny the possibility of evolution. They often believe they were instead conjured by magic from an invisible man in the sky.

You are avoiding the real answer that person is looking for. If we and ALL of the universe did not come from some kind of intelligent design, then just how did ALL of this "just appear" at some point in time? Science says that they know that the universe definitely had a beggining, so how did that happen out of "nothingness"? Where did all of the debris and gases that supposedly collided and ignited to create the "Big Bang" come from? Putting aside a belief in a "God" to majically create these things, then everything had to have a beggining somehow. I'm not looking for a sarcastic answer. I really would like to know just how you (or anyone) would explain that. In a lot of ways it takes more faith to believe in the Big Bang and evolution than it does for a God with "majic" powers. At least with a belief in a God, you are believing in a physical being and an intelligence to create these things. That is much more plausible than the belief that something came from NOTHING AT ALL. That beleif is just really far out there. To me it says that some people are grasping at straws to explain all of this. You just can not even entertain the idea of a devine Creator, so you would rather believe that all of this grand universe and all of it's highly complex wonders, just "popped" up out of nothing? Who looks like an idiot now? Not you personally, I'm referring to the believers in evolution in general. Set aside the years of controversy over this debate and look at this issue from an objective viewpoint. If you did not know ANYTHING about these viewpoints, and you arrived here from another planet, and some people started telling you all of this, who would you believe? The people that said that an intelligent being created all of this, or the people that said physical matter just appeared out of nothing at all, with no outside force acting on it's behalf and "BOOM" all of this universe and planets and eventually human life came from NIOTHING. It's absurd to even consider that. Even if there is no God, then there has to be a better explanation than the current theory of evolution.

For your assertions to even begin to make sense you must;

1. Define exactly what you mean by "nothingness".

2. Cite an example that such condition does or ever has existed, and...

3. Demonstrate how "something" cannot come from it.

I suggest you take in lectures by Dr. Lawrence Krauss to possibly gain insight as to just how flawed your analogy is.

BTW: Evolution has absolutely nothing to do with the origin of the universe.

I don't really buy the "the big bang thoery." However, until there is a better answer I will go with it, but I do believe there is more, but most likely we may never know the answer or at least not any time soon.

But evolution did happen on this planet just like it has probably happened on a million other planets somewhere in the universe.

I do question how the big bang occured and where all the "stuff" came from to even start the big bang. Like you I want to know how something was created out of nothing. So if you can answer this question you will have answered a question that the greatest minds in the world have yet to give a solid answer to.

However, I do NOT believe the God theory and it too is just a theory in my opinion. As there is no solid proof a a God and even if I did believe in God, which I don't, my first question would be who created God. And if you say He's always been then I would say that the universe has always been.

Maybe the universe is infinite in the future and it was infinite in the past. But, proving this would be like proving there is a God.

Neither question may never be answered... ever!!! And although I would like to know, it's okay and I will have to live with it.

It is very had to comprend any of this. However I have prayed myself and seen miracles happen. I have even put out a fleece to God because sometimes it is so hard to understand. by that I am saying I prayed to God and said God if you will do this I will know there is really a God and it happened. I dont mean something small I mean something that no one else could do. So maybe you need to put out a fleece to God so you will know to. The bible says faith is the substance of things HOPED for the evidence of things not seen. Thats where faith comes in we have faith that there is a God and an after life so we hope for it and have faith that there is even tho we have not seen it (evidence of things not seen). I would rather die beliving in God aand there not be one than to die not believing and there is an afterlife and God. Because then I would surly be lost.

Well no one can chane you unless you want to and like I said if you really want to know pray and ask God to show you a sign. And faith is a very good thing to have and without it I dont know what I would do. But if you dont want to know dont try to confuse other people. I have absolutely seen too many miracles in my life not to have faith and believe in God. And by they way what has this got to do with Just moved here and I am a psychic?

Which is it; you've witnessed miracles or you have faith? You can have one or the other, not both.

Apparently you're the one who is confused.

I am an atheist and just for fun I have asked for this so-called "sign" because I figured if your God would send anyone a sign it would be a sign for me... an atheist.

Well, you know I have been waiting and I have yet to see any sign or anything that would make me or even make me to want to believe.

So until I see this sign nothing will change. And don't tell me I have to want to change... that make no sense at all!!!
