How are things at the Dyersburg Nordyne? Have they laid off a lot of people too?

It sucks, it's the same old crap. Terry Elmore is a pathetic, kiss ass supervisor with no knowledge of how to run a product line efficiently to achieve maximum output. Upper management is a bunch of losers who are all in the same boat as Terry Elmore. It could be a nice place to work if not having to put up with these clowns on a daily basis.

Does Judy Rogers still work there? She has worked everywhere..... She's very nice to your face, but I've heard you had better not turn your back to her....unless you want a knife in it.

Was she human resources? I think she does still work there. I feel sorry for those who actually want to work, you are handicapped by those who just wish to play around and by those like Terry who condone the crap and do nothing.

Charlie, you obviously do not know what the heck you are talking about. I worked with Judy at both Dyersburg Fabrics and World Color. She was the BEST HR Manager EVER. My husband worked with her at Firestone...same story. She has no use for worthless pieces of crap that take advnatages of the companies she works for and drags them down.....is that you Charlie? You have no reason to call me a loser. You don't even know me. I said she's worked everywhere and she has (you even mentioned Dyersburg Fabrics, World Color, Firestone, and of course Nordyne). I said I HEARD she would stab you in the back. I don't claim to know anything personally because I have never worked with her. I look at someone changing jobs a lot as someone... she or any other HR manager would probably not hire..it just doesn't seem to be a good example.

You should have the facts before you start posting what you've "heard" on public postings. To post without the facts whould classify you as a LOSER or CRAP STIRRER...which is it, Charlie? For the record, she would NOT stab you or anyone in the back. She would do her job following the law, not her personal opinion. Anyone who knows her, knows this.

Not sure about this Judy. Her assistant is the one that should be watched. me and my brother worked with her at Plastech that closed back last July. Seems like she was arguing with the plant people and speedin up the plant closure. Not sure whos side she was on. Probably done us a favor cause the plant conditions were awful with oil leaks and floor space issues. Still was a decent job for folks and wished she was a bit more sympathetic, or wished she would have pretended to show a little empathy. Alot of folks close to the closure activity would agree with me.

NO I am not saying that, actually I did not give false information about anyone on this site, I do not know this HR person, I was just commenting that everyone is entitled to give their opinion or obviously half of the people who contribute to these blogs would have been banned by now, there are a lot of hostile people on here.
