Boners usually last four hours. I remember a guy (who didn't need it) said he took a half a pill. He said it made him miserable b/c it was HARD, and not a good hard! He tried to have sex but his girlfriend just shooed him away. I laughed my arse off when he told me the story.

Moral of the story: don't take unless you need it and maybe start off with a small dose.

If you are that much overweight that it's causing lack of energy then I would try the adipex for a couple of months to help you get active. Use those 2-3 months to develope an exercise routine and a healthy eating habit. Stop the adipex but continue your routines of healthy eating and exersizing and you should be just fine.

Some of you need to chill with the overweight jokes because some people really need this...ive been struggling for years to loose weight. Diets didnt work, exercise only toned up a little...this site is for people who wants and needs to loose weight...not for you skinny drug addicts who can't gain weight!

The only way Adipex will work is if you are completely dedicated to losing the weight. I've taken it prior to this time, but didn't take it serious, therefor lost little weight. I decided it was time to take control so I'm back on the pills again. I took my first pill on August 1 of this year (2013) I started back on the pills. My starting weight was 221 and today was my 1 month weigh in to get my next months pills and I weigh 204...that's a weight loss of 17 pounds in 4 weeks. It really hasn't been hard, I changed my eating habits and am sticking to 1000 cal. a day and exercise when I can. My doctor charges $85 for the office visit and to fill the pills at Wal-Mart it costs approx.$20 for a month's supply. The FDA restriction on this medication is you can only be on it for 3 months, then off for 7 months before you can be prescribed again. It DOES work if you are serious about the weight loss.
**I also take a water pill that was prescribed (Lasix - 40mg) since I'm susceptible to water retention so that helps me keep down the "water weight"

It does work. The first month i lost 20 pounds, 12 the next month and continued loosing weight with not doing much but my regular daily routine. I srayed on it way to long I lost 64lbs in about 4 months then stayed on it for another year, only because i was scared to come off it bc i would gain weight. When i did come off the med in july of 2013 by jan 2014 i gain all the weight back plus a couple pounds but that my fault i didnt change my habits. I just started it again today and i plan on doing it right this time so i dont gain it back. It does work and i encourage people who need the help loosing weight to take it and make those changes in your habits so you can maintain on your own. Good luck.
