Wrong about person who found Karen's car:

DYERSBURG, TN -(WMC-TV)- Dyer County residents are wondering how a mother of four could have simply vanished. Karen Johnson Swift's disappearance has many people worried.

Swift was last seen at her home early Sunday morning. According to friends, she had just returned from a Halloween party. Swift's vehicle, a white 2004 Nissan Murano, was later found with a flat tire on the Millsfield Highway, near the Harness Road intersection in Northern Dyer County.

Tuesday, Donnie Johnson recalled seeing the vehicle.

"I saw the car sitting there a day or so, but I didn't know anything was going on," he said

So she pays with her life? And how on earth do you accept responsibility after you are DEAD?
I never said she could, but her children are still the ones that are hurting perhaps because of some of those decisions.

Perhaps, in some ways, but I set the stage for the whole thing. If I had made a better decision, he would not have run over me. no you standing in front of a semi and something happening would be an accident, this is no accident moron. This is murder. You are the dumbest person that's posting, it's very clear that you are uneducated.

it's not because those decisions moron, it's because someone committed murder. This has nothing to do with what she has done, it doesn't call for murder, or condone it, or make it ok. Nothing she has done is worth being murdered.

Doesn't sound like she stayed at home too much does it? All that going and husband working and paying the bills and baby sitting. I know they are HIS KIDS TOO..But seems this woman spent more time on the go than at home with her kids..And where did she get the money to do this?
That's what I'm thinking, how do you maintain that big of a home and 2 girls and go go go all the time? I know I couldn't and at 44 didn't. I surely have not heard of her working prior to the weeks before she went missing either, so yes, I am assuming David was paying for EVERYTHING. Supporting the household, paying for college, and all the social extras. I'm sure that was quite a chunk. I wonder if when she was teaching her night aerobics, doing concerts, and meeting up with her girlfriends if Dad was taking care of girls or were they left with neighbor or babysitter? If nothing more, he certainly deserves credit and compliments for his being a good provider for his family. I thought I also read where he either coached or helped coach the daughters athletics. So I also envision him as a good father too, expecially if he was taking care of the girls at night and weekends.

sad as it is that she was murdered if she had been at home taking care of the kids she would be alive today. I think these folks that she dealt with were way smarter than she was and she was in to deep.

Excellent post! Gives one a lot to think about! Expecially if your last couple sentances are true about who reported her missing. I am totally unclear who actually was the first to report it. I thought I read David reported her missing the next afternoon (Sunday) later in the afternoon/evening when she didn't come home when he fully realized since she wasn't with friends and they hadn't heard from her and she hadn't come home or called him at all, that something serious must be wrong! Do you know what time it was that Kathy called LE?

Yes, someone committed murder, Guest, and I think we all get that point, but it is what she has done, said and or did that is the CAUSE for such a brutal hate crime,if done by someone she knew.

Unless it was a complete stranger abduction/murder type serial killer that just happened to have come upon her in that intersection. There is always that chance, but slim to none in my opinion that time of the morning. Still doesn't explain where she was going either.

Well, that is what I was freakin asking?? who reported her missing? All I said was what I read pertaining to David. You're tellin me to get my facts straight when all I was doing was asking, please tell me if you know the facts so I can.

IDK if you are saying it was not David or Kathy who reported her missing? if so fine, but who did? Not that hard of a question to answer if you know and you are anonymous, since there are so many on this thread that use the same name "Guest".

I am so out of here! Pisses me off that you can't dicuss anything or interact or compliment another poster on their ideas or thoughts. Can't post yourself without getting the "negative nuts and clueless, judge it things". I've posted alot on WS, SM and other Topix forums for yrs. and this one is so out of whack. Nobody can discuss anything. Sorry for the ones that are here and want to, there are some that I admire reading and would enjoy posting with throughout this case, but obviously this isn't allowed on these threads.

I feel sorry for the community and hope they can all work together and LE to solve this murder. Merry Christmas to the few kind and logical posters here.

Another reason I am not staying is because of this jerk! His Moniker switches from Hollywood FL to FT. Lauderdale and he's yacking about TN. Sounds like some old backwoods, redneck trash himself that probably only has the mentality to "sit by da crik" and tend to da still. Strung out on moonshine and drugs calling everyone else Shyte! What a illerate, stupid sicko! Take care GDigger.

But don't act like you couldn't see where this type of behavior would drive a person over the edge...
I haven't slandered anyone, but since you didnt answer my question but just lashed out at me, I see now. You just made yourself look like a heartless little skank. Why have respect for the deceased? Why don't you ask her children that you sick puppy.

I don't think David could harm Karen. Has there been any medical records that would indicate he has ever layed a hand on her. I think Box needs to look at the couple she went to the Farms with. She was with them when she became upset...WHY?

You don't know if she was upset. That's all a prediction. She was fine. Went home with her girl to go to bed and after that, no one knows.
