In the closet. People are to close-minded in West TN to be accepting of gay people.

How times have changed. I remember being a youngster and hearing the Flintstones singing about having a "gay old time".

Is someone else's sexuality all that important to you? Don't you have something else to do? Like play in traffic?

I agree with you !!
I know several gays and they are really sweet people. Just because thay choose to be that way means nothing to me.
I don't judge them with the sexualality they chosen. I judge by character and personality...The hand few I know are some great people. Nuff said !

Gay people don't CHOOSE to be gay. They're born that way. Do you remember CHOOSING to be straight? I'm gay and I've been attracted to other males since I was a small child. The fact that people still think that sexual preference is a choice are completely clueless.

apparently you have not nearly enough to do in life. I have a plate full enough that i dont have time to worry about anothers sexual preferences, whether someone is a Christian or not, is pro-choice or pro-life, is democrat or republican. However, maybe if you spent your hateful energies on something that makes a positive difference then the world just may be a happier place, if not for all then at least for one. You fit the profile of the bigot that is more worried about gays than the homeless, abused children, poverty..and then list goes on and on.How the fruck does someone elses choice of intimate behaviors directly affect you? Does it? NO! Should it? NO...only if you choose to let it. Keep living in the dark, one day you'll awake to a new kind of light. Worry about you and yours, live the way you see fit and let God sort out the rest. Sincerely, a heterosexual 40 something married white female.

There isn't a shred of evidence to prove your ridiculous claim. Being homosexual is a lifestyle. People like you want to blame it on "science" so you will have an excuse for your perversion.

i disagree. I chose to be gay because guys are the only ones that feel me when I'm going pee wee Herman from the back. Leave us alone! We're all happy people:)

surely a person saying they've ALWAYS been attracted to the same sex isn't enough evidence for weak minded individuals such as yourself. My dear, science cannot prove nor disapprove everything. Only ones who want to believe someone can't possibly be born this way are the same that would disown their own flesh and blood out of hate.

Michael and Jennie, you both need to grow the hell up!!!! Always putting down Brian and pretending to be him making stupid comments on Topix. Pop some more of those pain pills y'all like so much, then pop some more, then some more, and go ahead and finish them off. The world would be a better place and those kids would be better off.

And how can you say you've "always been attracted to the same sex"? WTH does that mean? There is NO science proving that homosexuality is "genetic". And stop your silly nonsense about "Only ones who want to believe someone can't possibly be born this way are the same that would disown their own flesh and blood out of hate." Did I say I "hated" you or anyone else? I simply stated a fact: that homosexuality is NOT- repeat NOT- something you are born with!!!

You need to get over your victim status about being "hated". You want to use that as your crutch when someone says homosexuality is wrong and not natural. If you want to engage in unnatural acts and possibly expose yourself to AIDS and other health hazards go for it. That's your right- just don't hold your breath waiting for us to condone it or applaud your actions.

actually I'm heterosexual. I don't remember choosing heterosexuality. Do you? Im just naturally attracted to the opposite sex. Isnt it plausible that homosexuals dont choose, that they naturally find themselves attracted to the same sex? Right, you wouldn't know because you aren't homosexual are you?

Quit trying to play games. Anyone knows that the normal and natural desire is for a man & woman to be attracted to each other. Homosexuals are attracted to other men/women b/c of an unnatural sexual desire. I happen to be very heterosexual having been married over 20 years. It sounds like you don't know which side of the fence you stand on!

No one is freaking BORN GAY! My gah, I'm so sick of that shit! Just about every gay guy is raised in a houseful of women and talking/acting/thinking like women is all they know. Just because your feminine doesn't mean you were BORN gay, it means you didn't have someone to teach you how to be a MAN! Being gay is SICK , and very much so a CHOICE! You can say poor poor me all you want to but truth is you need to grow some balls and be a MAN like you were made to be!
