I don't appreciate the American public being lied to. Adam should have kept his first wife Lilith.

On the other side of this perverted "gospel" coin is what is known as Hyper-Dispensationalism.
They teach that water Baptim is not for this age (the church age).

Some pervert the truth and teach that Water Baptism is essential for salvation although most of them teach that "you can lose your salvation", but you don't have to be Baptized again to get your savvation back.

It's humorous, but sad, that these "water dogs", "Campbellites", or "Southern Catholics" teach that water baptism is "ESSENTIAL for salvation", but when you ask them "Do you know for sure your going to heaven when you die?". Their response is, "I hope so" or "I think so".
John would write in:
1 John 5:13
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; That ye may KNOW THAT YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, and that ye may believe onthe name of the Son of God.

According to the Bible, when a person in this age of Grace (which is about over) TRUSTS the Lord Jesus Christ and His death at Calvary as the payment for his/her SIN, the word that you rarely ever hear on the televsion preaching programs,(You may not be a drunk, thief, murderer, gambler, rapist, or sex pervert, but you are a SINNER by nature. You got your SIN nature from your father that got his from his father,.... from Adam). The fact that your going to be buried one day (your coffin may be built and sitting at the funeralhome as you read this) or your ashes will be scattered somewhere proves that you are a SINNER by nature, by practice and by choice.

On one side of this particular perverted "gospel" coin are those who teach that water baptism is ESSENTIAL for salvation. On the other side of this coin are those who teach that water baptism is "not for this age".

The Church age: Jesus Christ told the thief on the cross that died AFTER Jesus Christ died:
Luke 23:42-43
(42) And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
(43) And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, to day shalt thou be with me in paridise.

Adam,(the original type of Christ, Jesus is called the Last Adam in)
I Corinthians 15:45
And so it is written, the first man Adam was made a living soul; THE LAST ADAM was made a quickening spirit.

Adam would have a bride when he awoke from his "DEEP SLEEP",
Genesis 2:21-23
(21) And the LORD caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
(22) And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
(23) And Adam said, this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

I Peter 3:21
The LIKE FIGURE whereunto even Baptism doth also now SAVE US (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

This verse says that water baptism is a "LIKE FIGURE" that is an answer of a "GOOD CONSCIENCE TOWARD GOD".

There are a number of people that have trusted what Jesus Christ did at Calvary for the substitutionary payment for their sins, but they've never taken the first step in their Christian life. They've never been Baptized.

Paul the apostle to the Gentiles would be dealing with the Gentile Philippian jailor in Acts chapter 16. Pauls message of SALVATION would be after being asked the direct question:
(v30)...Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
(31) And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou SHALT BE SAVED, and thy house.
(32) And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that was in his house.
(33) And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was BAPTIZED, he and all his straightway.
The results of a touch of God (salvation) on a family.
(v34) And when he had brought them into his house, he sat meat before them, and REJOICED, believing in God with all his house.
Water Baptism is a picture of salvation (The Death, Burial, and Resurrection of the believer in Christ), but should NEVER be confused or proclaimed as ESSENTIAL for salvation or even a part of a persons salvation.

Drinking in excess is no different than doing anything else in excess. A sin is a sin regardless if it is your sin or not. Did you eat too much over the holidays? That is gluttony and one of the so called seven deadly sins. Did you spend more money than you should have on Christmas gifts, that could be lust or greed? A Christian should live their life in a repentant state. You screw up and you ask forgiveness and do not do the sin again.

You wrote almost as much as paul and still do not understand. baptism is a part of salvation yes it most assuredly is. Cornelius was a good man that prayed and gave much alms. Now when his prayer was heard by God he was told by an Angel of God to go to Joppa. and there he would be instructed how and what to do to be saved . Now sir. the first thing he was commanded to do was become a water dog1. 2 .he spoke in tongues.3 he became saved which is the salvation that the Bible said would be preached starting at jeruselum and preached to all nations in his name. and yes it is essential to be Baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS as Acts said in 2 and 38 . now there is one Name given among men under heaven were by you must . you see Cornelius thought he was saved just like you but was wrong. and the theif on the cross jesus saved bc he came to this earth with the power to heal and to save all he had to do was say the word ,my advice to you is go to the water .how can a man be born again does he go back into his mothers womb? marvel not that I tell you that you must be born again. the BIBLE said unless you are born of the water' and the spirit you can not see the kingdom of God.one lord one faith and one baptism. EPH 4&5. YOUR ANOTHER CORNELIUS. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR KNEW FOUND RELIGION.

Gluttony is when you lust to eat till your sick and go barf it up then go back and eat right away out if lust for food. not to cross swords bc a sin is a sin but eating to much is't a sin unless it turns into real gluttony which is disgusting . it goes back to what Solomon said " To be A great waster is a sin. just like the bible said Jesus said who can forbid water baptism? not one. this guy thought he had it all figured out. but God opened my understanding I was just like him then I was shown through many nights of prayer that paul had the same salvation the same way that peter had . peter was given the KEYS to the kingdom paul preached that Cornelius was told how to be saved by simon . Cornelius was a good Christian but he was still not saved until he obeyed the Gospel that was given also to the Gentiles for they spoke in tongues and magnified God. he will hopefully figure it out only with the help of GOD.

That's my point, no one is perfect. If we were perfect beings then there is no need for salvation through Jesus. It is wrong to pick a sin and expound upon the horribleness of that sin, when you or I may be just as guilty of committing another sin. Just because I am not an alcoholic doesn't mean that I don't have another sin that I indulge in. Any and all sin is as equally distasteful to God.

Maybe so, but gluttony never killed innocent boys and girls just because they were in the wrong car at the wrong time. Gluttony never caused innocent people to be killed because of a drive by shooting and gluttony NEVER killed a hundred people because they were at a Night Club Partying and Eating.
It's still sin. It is still filthy in God's eyes. Adultery doesn't kill, but it sure does hurt all who are involved. So a sin ain't a sin unless it takes a life?
