Thank you for saying we are the best! I really appreciate that because we all work so hard to keep both our centers great!=)
To the "guest" I find it hard to believe that your child was never changed being as we document every time your child is changed. We check our children every 15 minutes and change them every hour. This is also on your child's daily report that is sent home with your child. Sorry you had a bad experience with us. Wish you would have discussed the problem with me and I would have been glad to fix the problem. I do not recall ever having a parent call me because their child was not changed. If anything we change them too much!! Sorry again if you did not like my center but we try very hard to make everybody happy and as the owner I am always there to listen if there is a problem!

helping hands is great, my child was at this daycare for over 2 years, he goes to pre-k now ,but still goes there when there is no school , he loves everyone there, down to mrs mary the cook, and if you do have a problem all you have to do is talk to candi, and she will see that it gets taking care of, he never sit in a poop diaper, matter of fact if you get there and they have pooped they will go ahead and change them before you leave, love this place!!!!! keep up the good work

"no way! i had bad experiences with helping hands. my son poop was dried to his bottom because they had not changed him!"

Oh gosh, I am so sorry to hear that. I know as a parent that it is hard enough as it is to place your little one in day care let alone to have to see this kind of stuff.

That sucks

My hat is off to all child care workers! They have a very hard job and they are underpaid. I worked in a daycare for many years until I had to retire due to medical problems. It is a very hard but rewarding job. Compliments to all daycare centers for working hard each day with our children! Instead of parents getting on here and bashing daycares for every little thing that ever went wrong they need to be complimenting them for working with their child for 9-11 hours a day. Daycare workers and centers are not perfect but neither is any parent. If your child goes to a preschool try to compliment the teachers or give positive remarks. It always made me feel good! If there ever is a problem just talk to your child's teacher or director. More than likely the problem will be resolved! People make mistakes just like parents do...We are all human!!
Let's keep this thread POSITIVE instead of NEGATIVE like everything else is on this website!!!

Daycare work is hard, but I agree that the daycare should be clean at all times, and give each child the loving care they need. I do not like to go into a center and it be filthy or children with boogers and snot all over their faces and their clothes nasty from eating. It's their job to maintain HEALTHY HABITS! I think it's the reason so many kids keeping staying sick!

Honeytree Preschool, they really care about the kids, and acually teach the basics. My little girl was there frome the time she was 6 months old to the time she started kindergarden. They are the best!

My 2 year old son goes to helping hands #2 and he really likes it. He enjoys going and he has learned so much since he has been there. He really enjoys the social interaction with his "school friends" (as he calls them lol) there. I pop in all the time and he is always happy.

discoverland is great!! my son has gone there for many years. he is in school now so he only goes during his breaks and days that school is closed, but we love her and everyone that helps her. i don't really feel like it is a daycare because my son just loves her and feels so comfortable there. i highly recommend ms. denise!!! i couldn't have picked a better place for my child to go.

with all the daycares around I think HEadstart is the worse where it comes to the workers. They have to work even when they are sick because the ones in the office is afraid they might have to work. Then they go on about the kids being sick. Alot of the time they are getting sick because the workers are made to work sick too. They just don't care about people feelings.

The Learning Tree is awesome. Both my daughters went there (6 years apart). I've told EVERYONE that I know - if I had 10 more kids - they would all go there. Debbie is wonderful and the whole staff treated my girls like they were their own - my kids loved to go every morning....
