Did you say, "back to the sticks"? Ah! Home sweet home, where only the Bobcats and Raccoons can hear the screams that signal dinner.
That's actually a matter of opinion dear. It can be more than just a casual relationship but I'll not over tax your thought process just yet.

What did that post say again? Oh, yeah - "I heard once that almost 80% of the population is "functionally illiterate". LOL

Um...its a thread about gun laws. I posted that sort of relevent stuff.

And then the trolls and drama queens invaded and began posting filth and stupidity.

But then again, they apparently were not raised right. No upbringing. I even explained to RS the difference between what she CAN do, and what she SHOULD do.

I might as well have talked to a stump. In fact, she even vowed to get worse and filthier.

She is like a 3 year old baby throwing a temper tantrum.

(I bet she was never able to have a stable adult relationship because she never outgrew the tantrum stage)

No raising. Its obvious. They shame themselves and they shame their kin that was supposed to have been raising them when they were little.
No dear, I don't take directives from you or anyone else. As far as my personal life, well your assumptions couldn't be further from the truth and are none of your business.

That's all...

Your rebuttal is covered in the initial statement.

Indeed. A sad truth, but it does seem to hold true, if not fall a bit short of reality. Try asking the various store clerks to "count back" your change. They've no clue. Hit them with verbal banter beyond the 6th grade level and watch the blank looks that greet you.

George Carlin had it right when he said that the "Owners" only want people educated enough to work the equipment and do the paperwork, but not those capable of critical thinking.

I believe I said that your "NRA propaganda" was boring and asked you twice if you were an NRA Operative , being paid to spread that propaganda. A question that you still haven't answered!

To begin with it was supposed to be a discussion about an amendment to Tennessee law regarding hunting rights. After the amendment was passed this thread essentially became a Second Amendment discussion until it was invaded by Trolls and Drama Queens.
Those who have to work to live and eat just don't have the time to out post those who have nothing better to do all day than obfuscate the extant issues of the day by posting inanities and vulgarities. Topix isn't about to bother with this thread because it just isn't worth their time and trouble either, so there we are.
One thing is certain, this thread {whether intentionally or not} does show the mentality that elected and then re-elected the present resident of the White House, and his plucky comic relief side kick.
Not going to argue with you there, careful though, you know if you critisize the Socialist in Chief you will automatically be labled a racist even though that word has no meaning anymore.

That might actually be one of the nicer accusations leveled at me.

I'm hearing that they've begun gun confiscation in New York. I guess Bloomberg wants to compete with Chicago and New Orleans for "Murder Capital of the US". Problem is, I'm not sure if any of the commonly accepted "legitimate" sources will report this, and those that would report it might be considered "controversial" or even {oh dare I say it?} "Conspiracy" sites.

Once our schools taught critical thinking, which made it difficult for News programs to propagandize. Now, with the newer, dumber, and less mentally agile crop of citizens they are far less subtle with the propaganda because they know that very few remain that can utilize textual criticism and the hermeneutics of counter-think to interpret what they say.

Considering that this is only one front of a much larger, yet to this point silent, war being waged across the planet, coupled with the Mass Education System Solution {or MESS if you prefer} implemented by the government, it is easy to see how and why we're losing so much ground.

Oh man!!! Just reading the link was enough to creep me out. To think that a significant fraction of the population of the US is this domesticated is just so wrong on so many levels.

It might be faked, like so much else the leftist news media is manufacturing these days.

Tennessee schools went to the "Common Core" standards.

The goal of CC standards?

To teach the PRESUPPOSITION of everything in such a way that kids are taught what to think, instead of HOW to think.

They are taught the presupposition that what they are being indoctrinated with is correct, and not to listen to anything different.

It is a "spoon feeding" operation. In other words, dumbing down, indoctrination, and propagandizing.

There is no legitimate source for news anymore, all the major media outlets are no more credible than a tabloid and even less honest. Anyone who doesn't realize that the media has a political agenda and will often manipulate(LIE), about what they report must have some addiction to being controlled and have some phobia to thinking for themselves. They have a real fear of reality and need BSNBC to tell the what to think and believe.
As far as public schools go (socialist indoctrination camps), there's never been a better argumant for home schooling and private schools. It's a sad day when you have to tell your 10 year old that you should only listen to your teacher when they are teaching the basics, anything else is an opinion only. Ask your kids daily what the teacher talked about that day and don't be afraid to correct them when the teacher offers their poitical opinion. You may have to tell your kid the teacher LIED to you.
It's no surprise that New York and other New England states pass laws that infringe upon peoples Constitutional rights because their leaders have no respect for the Constitution. These same leaders, if they were living in the later 1700's would have supported King George and England, they are not patriots.

Yes it has no meaning anymore, it's even become laughable like some 5th grader calling one of his classmates a poo poo head. Libearl Moonbats have overused and abused the word racist so much since Obama was elected it's a joke and it has no power as a word anymore. People living in the "REAL" world don't like Obama's Marxist views and socialist agenda, they really don't care if he's a black man or not but when Moonbats can't defend him they automatically throw out the "R" word so when someone screams racist at someone who critisizes Obama's socialist policies, people in the "REAL" world just have to laugh.

Delusional? Do you remember Dr. Ben Carson? I have a feeling you're going to hear more from him in the very near future.
