Just ate again at buckets service a 100% better than last two times. Impressed with the quick turn around. The food was good but the steak was no to my liking so much. Shrimp was the best I've had in town and their salad was great. Not as great as Neils but pretty good for a side salad. And the manager was going around asking how people experience was. The waitress never let our drinks get empty and she was very courteous and nice the entire meal. She wasn't fake Wichita is refreshing from other restaurants. A lot of happy tables. I really hope they keep this up and break the shoney's curse.!

Well I work at many place as a waitress. Every place I work at the custmors love me. Most of the time the problem is with the owners. Most of the time the owners would treat the bad waitress like gold and the good ones like sh*t. I don't get it. Why not just get rid of the bad ones and keep the good ones. I just don't understand why owner do this; they are just hurting there own business.

The lady whom owns Buckets is a really nice and very hard working person. I think the trashing of this business needs to stop! In the last not even 2 months, she has opened a restaurant working very hard at it and also buried her husband. Things may not be perfect in the business right now and nobody in life is perfect. If you'd like to complain do it in the business and be legitimate about it don't be nit picking every little detail. Be fair about it. If you still don't like it then don't go back. Don't come on topix anonymous and trash a persons business and livelihood just don't go back anymore. Show some compassion and decency about yourself.

The place sucks, poor managment, rude managers hosts and waitresses.... the food is good if it is on time.... the enviorment when u walk in the place sucks. They need people who have a positive head on there shoulders instead of the ones who are working there

I've eaten there several times and people's reviews on here are way over the top, both good and bad.

The truth is that this is not a high end restaraunt, nor is it priced as such; so you are an idiot if you go there expecting the dinner of your life. The food I've had has been exactly what I expected-Good for a Dyersburg/small town restaraunt.

Service varies, as it does everywhere, but generally good.

I hope they succeed b/c its about as much as one can expect from a town such as D'burg.

That location is cursed. Nothing can last there.

But it's Dyersburg, anything that's not a Mexican restaurant won't last.

We tried this place once, and I can truthfully say I am in no hurry to return. I ordered the wings, I mean, that's supposed to be their "specialty", right? The order I got looked like they came off of an anorexic hummingbird. I don't think a single wing was bigger than my thumb. The service was remarkably unimpressive. We will not be in any hurry to return.

I recommended someone to Buckets today and I'm sorry I did. They came back unimpressed. I actually haven't eaten their but now I'm not in any hurry after the report they gave me. Here is what they told me. The price was ok about standard compared to other places depending on what you order. They were in a party of 9 people and 5 of them liked their meal and the other 4 did not. The food was average to a little below average at best. The biggest complaint was the restrooms. They had a bad odor that could be smelled before you walked in right outside as you opened the restroom door. The overall service was good, however a restaurant not having a clean restroom is a big turn off.
