Does anyone know of the store I am referring to here.....it was some type of general store maybe on the main road thru the town and they sold camper tops for pickups. this would have been back in the 70s probably maybe early 80s. I think it has since been changed to a dollar general or something. Any help is much appreciated.

Aw come on, snicker. We old...I mean, seniors don't have a problem remembering things from a few decades ago. Our memory problem is for things that happened lately. Like, where did I leave my teeth yesterday?

The BBQ pit is controled by the weather, not the season at my house. Thursday afternoon was very nice here, so it was a reason to cook out. (A few hours later it was snowing.) I'm always ready to try a new sauce, but a good dry shake and 'Sweet Baby Ray's' is hard to beat. Want be long until it's hot outside, and the grill is a good excuse to not warm up the kitchen.

I agree that the Boston butt needs something different, but the dry shake helps. I need a good vinegar base sauce to mop on regularly to keep it from drying out. But, as you know, noone ever complains, or they do the cooking next time.

In my opinion, they don`t have any bbq seasoning that is better than RAZORBACK SPICES . Have used it for over twenty years now.Miss 'RED"

A very good choice, and it's home town is Blytheville. I knew Red (R.I.P.) years ago, and his son (also a friend) now runs the business. They won championships all over the world. If you want a BBQ catered, they are the ones to call.
