The teachers union disciplinary rules for teachers caught drinking alcohol on the job in Bay City, Michigan are as follows: 1st offense=reprimand, 2nd offense=3 day suspension without pay and counseling, 3rd offense=5 day suspension no pay and counseling, 4th offense=10 day suspension no pay, counseling, 5th offense= termination....Can you believe that!? The policy for using illegal drugs or even selling illegal drugs to the kids is, 1st time=reprimand, 2nd time=3 day suspension no pay, 3rd time=termination....This is just mind blowing!..And they wonder what is wrong with our education system. If it can happen in Michigan, it can happen here. Who would want a drunk and stoned teacher to supposedly be teaching your kids much less selling drugs to them! I almost couldn't believe my ears when I heard this. The morals and values have all but disappeared in our nation. They kick prayer out of our schools and let drug addicted /alchoholic teachers stay...God PLEASE help us!. I fear for the future of our country with decisions like that being made for our children
