I only tell my story to help others I mean it was awful because at first I was believing them. And you wouldn't believe the people bless their hearts that did. Because it is so real and they trust doctors and would have them turned off right away and didn't have the ability to think and wait a little longer. I am not saying anything bad about thoes people my heart goes out to them you don't know what to do or which way to turn. And I just don't want them to loose their hope so soon.

Do you know that it was not? I never accused anyone of anything. I was only following up on a comment that someone said about texting and driving.

I had an idea about making a chip to install in every cell phone that can detect when the phone is moving over 15mph and it would not receive or send any text or phone calls untill the phone dropped below that speed. Then about 2 months after I thought of that, I saw a commercial on TV that Sprint has already done something like that. I can't remember the details though. Does anyone know if that is true or not? If it is, then they need to make it a federal law that all new cell phones in the U.S must be made with that technology installed and it must be tamper proof. That would stop people from doing it. I can't tell you how many times I have passed someone that was texting and driving. I was behind a young girl that was weaving across the middle lines on Hwy 51 going towards Halls last week, and she was speeding up and slowing down too. I finally was able to get around her safely and as I passed her, I saw that she was looking at her cell phone. She had it up by the steering wheel as she drove. C'mon people! That is so very dangerous! It's just as bad as drinking and driving! It's time to STOP! driver was texting and she dropped her phone. She reached to get it and when she looked back to rd. They were already heading across road towards tree.

driver wrote: Guest123, you are an idiot. Not everyone in a moving vehicle is driving,so a device such as this would also hinder a non-driving passenger from using their phone. Just stupid. They should just enforce the law on texting while driving Driver....its an app! U turn it on when YOU are going to be driving. When YOU DO NOT drive YOU DO NOT turn the app ON. Whos an idiot?

People should just know not to do this. The same thing happens when you look to change a radio station or look to pick up anything you drop. It can happen in a second. If you look off the road it only takes a moment to loose control we just need to really express this to our teens.

This accident was not caused by texting and driving. All theses girls need prayers for there recovery and I most definetly will continue to pray for all of them. I only know April but all the girls are in my families prayers. I know 2 of the girls are hurt pretty bad and 1 is ok and at home. I just want all the girls and family know that there are a lot of people praying for all of yall and just know that god is with each and everyone of yall. God was with them at the time of the wreck and will continue to be there thru the recovery. God bless these families.

I understand that some people refuse to except the fact that this young lady was reaching for her phone right before the wreck happened but it was confirmed by one of the passengers that she was messing with her phone. But none the less all involved needs to be prayed for & I truly wish them a speedy recovery

It doesn't matter no one meant for this to happen. It was an accident. And an accident is just that an accident. We can always look hind site and see where something should have could have been done differently but we can't call back time. Let's just pray for the families because they all need it.

It is a great teams center and just where'd she needs to be now but they will really discourage you. They will tell you the worst things don't listen just keep praying . They told me my child wouldn't live through the night and that has been almost 5 years ago. They said they were a veg. state and wanted me to turn them off life support. I wouldn't give up my child is breathing eating and talking all the time. I saw a lot of people take their advice. Just give her a chance and believe me prayer changes things. yea, prayer changes things like the praying people on the upper floors of the trade center jumping out of windows. Must be god only listens to some people.
