I don't know if this was due to texting and driving, however, that is an issue that needs to be addressed more than it is. I had an idea about making a chip to install in every cell phone that can detect when the phone is moving over 15mph and it would not receive or send any text or phone calls untill the phone dropped below that speed. Then about 2 months after I thought of that, I saw a commercial on TV that Sprint has already done something like that. I can't remember the details though. Does anyone know if that is true or not? If it is, then they need to make it a federal law that all new cell phones in the U.S must be made with that technology installed and it must be tamper proof. That would stop people from doing it. I can't tell you how many times I have passed someone that was texting and driving. I was behind a young girl that was weaving across the middle lines on Hwy 51 going towards Halls last week, and she was speeding up and slowing down too. I finally was able to get around her safely and as I passed her, I saw that she was looking at her cell phone. She had it up by the steering wheel as she drove. C'mon people! That is so very dangerous! It's just as bad as drinking and driving! It's time to STOP!
At&t has an app. Its called not now. It does the same thing as u are saying but I do not know about sprint or other carriers.

Guest123, you are an idiot. Not everyone in a moving vehicle is driving,so a device such as this would also hinder a non-driving passenger from using their phone. Just stupid. They should just enforce the law on texting while driving

Nobody needs to put blame on anything or anyone Keep them in your prayers this has not affected one person it has affected several families Its not our place to judge if you have any kind of faith just PRAY and ask for healing for them all

You are the idiot. How can they enforce the laws against texting and driving. Since you are so smart and I'm an idiot, then use your super brain and tell all of us lowly peasants just how you,the "Great One" would make sure that NOBODY was texting and driving. You nutjob! It can't be done! People text and drive all of the time with their phone down in the seat where a cop can not see it and can not prove that a person was doing it. That is why you hardly EVER hear of ANYONE being charged with that. But you are smart. Tell us how YOU would solve the problem.

Why does everyone want to know "the story"? And gossipers are all ready to post their opinion.

Young ladies were injured. Let's send our good wishes and prayers for their speedy recoveries and for the families that are hurting.

My prayers are with the girls injured and their families. May God bless you during this difficult time.

Are all the girls going to be ok? I know they were all injured. We are praying for them all. Just wanting an update on their medical status.

No, the law is not enforced. 90% of all cops I pass are texting on phones themselves. As a truck driver I see it all the time. And as for you guest123 , let's just outlaw all phones as they kill ppl , right? Just Luke guns kill ppl? Ha ha right

You don't know if this accident was due to texting so keep your comments to yourself or post them on another thread please.
