It's not that motorcycles are dangerous. People just need to realize that even tho they may drive a 3000 lb automobile, there are those that live the freedom of riding a bike. WATCH out people, BIKES have the right to be on the road too

Not to bust your chops......but bikes, like guns, are only as dangerous as the person operating it......our friend is very seriously hurt and currently in the hospital, he needs prayers. As to why the wreck happened if woman driving had ACTUALLY looked before she pulled out in front of our friend and was NOT checking out the kids in the back seat, our friend would NOT be in critical condition and looking at serious rehab, when he does get out of the hospital! Thanks for your prayers folks!

Safety Tips for Motorcyclists:
3. When they go hunting, rednecks love to deck out in hunter orange so loud and tacky it makes even Flava Flav shake his head. When they ride their bike, they want to f#$^%ing camouflage themselves. You are hard to see.
2. Maybe don't go 80 MPH in a 65 MPH speed limit. You are hard to see.
1. Maybe don't act like a total dick every time your hard-to-see ass comes within 10 feet of a car. You're 1/3 the width of a car. You are hard to see. Calm the f#$^% down!

Im sorry for ur friend being hurt and in critical condition but if u wasn't in the car tht hit the man how the hell do u know wht the woman was doing??? My point exactly. And from my understanding if the man on the bike had of had his lights on the woman might would have seen him. But prayers r being sent his way though. Two sides to every story. Just saying.

A bike does not come into focus as easily as a car, bottom line. Groups of bikers are easily seen. I like bikes but feel safer in a car because of this.

In the first place "guest", all bikes now have a headlight that comes on as soon as the key or ignition switch is turned on. I have ridden bikes my whole life and have come close to being run Oberon numerous occasions. People just DO NOT LOOK.. Pay attention people, it is the time of year for bikes to be out.If you look once, don't be in such a hurry, LOOK TWICE

I wasn't there, no....but he was and he told the police what happened. He was going under the speed limit, he'd just gotten off work and was driving home, and seen her and tried to brake to avoid collision. And if you had a clue you would know that most bike headlights stay on all the time....as soon as you crank the motor, as this bike did!

I'm sorry I will not put his name on here. He is not a member of any club, he was just a guy getn off work from a hard day at work, on his way home! With all my heart Thank You to the owner of Midway! He is resting better, still in a great deal of pain, but God willing he'll make it thru this! and thank you for the prayers

Well I know for a fact that he did not have his light on. The man who saw his light not on tried to catch up to him to let him know but it was too late.

ALL riders ere not like this. Matter of fact, majority of riders are SAFE riders.I do not count "crotchers" as riders.

I don't think all bikes head lights automatically come on. Hondas have hand switches and blinkers. Sounds like both the driver of the vechicle and motorcycle operator both made errors. Everyone should stop bashing and judging and find the lesson life is teaching here. Hope everyone involved recover and have a happy life.
