Blue Bug says hello to everyone, old and new. I used to spend a lot of time talking on CB in 1972 and 1973 when I was teaching school at Fifth Consolidated. I later changed my handle to Snakedoctor and moved to Weakley County. Those were the days!!! Now I live in Union City and can be found on most any of the 40, just ask somebody, they'll direct you, I'm not that hard to find.

Chief is/was my Mom's first cousin, his name is Cherry Davis. I didn't even know he was still alive. He was actually from Newbern, and worked for Servimation

I remember alot of those. For the life of me I cant remember my dads handle. But my moms was Patches and Queen of the silver dollar. My stepfathers was Caveman. My dad was friends with Blue Beard. Very nice guy. If I remember correctlly he was in a wheel chair. I have pictures of him and my dad together. I can remember as a teen going to all the cb jamborees around in west tn and arkansas. It was always a blast for me. Wow this really brings back some memories.

I knew a Patches that lived/lives around Martin. She was married to a guy whose handle was Brickbat. Brickbat died several years ago and she married another CBer handeled Brother-in-law. Yes Bluebeard was in a wheelchair his whole life. I believe he was born with spinal bifida. He too, died several years ago (late 90's early 2000's). I sure wish you could remember your Dad's handle, if he was close friends with Bluebeard, I probably knew him too.

I too was 8 when my Dad passed. I don't think he had a handle then. They went by call numbers. His was 6w4529. Will never forget it. I spent a lot of time in the shop w him. I also remember the solder smell. Wish I could go back. BTW his name was Jack Evans. Anyone remember him?

His name was Thomas Jerry Hinson. He worked at Colonial Rubber for 17 years. He passed away in 1986. My mother Pat (Patches & Queen of the silver dollar) was married to Hugh Rundles (Caveman) but they later devorced. She passed away last march. But i do remember Bluebeard. I remember he lived just off hwy 51 kind of across where the Mcdowells Juvinile Center is now. We used to go and see him often. He was a very cool guy.
