Hey Been There, God will always love you, he will never leave you or forsake you, yes sometimes people just are not going to like us, just remember if you try to please people you are going to fail, God made you like you are and i am sure you are special to some people. You were made in God's image, the bible says so, he formed us all, you have a purpose in life, just live it, God bless you!

I hope that you don't even listen to these rude remarks. Pastors can't please everyone especially when they please God. Many people hated Jesus. I don't know the pastor personally, but I know several church members who speak highly of him. I hope if you are interested in a United Pentecostal Church, then you will try there. You just may find that the pastor is not a problem.(Sometimes a few in the pews may be...I will not criticize them either.=) But please do what you know to do, and you and Jesus will both be happy!=) May God bless you.

I think a church should be concerned about its members and those who attend and do not claim to be members. If someone goes there for YEARS and then is sick for weeks and months and not one person from the church calls to see why that person is not in attendance, that is sad. It is beyond sad. It is despicable. That means a church is NOT a caring and friendly church. No criticism here. Just the facts, ma'am.

I'm not a member of that church but I visited there and I tell you I have never hear a message any more annointed by the Holy Spirit as the pastor delivered that morning. The power of God was so strong in the building you could cut it with a knife. Believe me I have been churched all my life and I know when the true Spirit moves.
I'm not saying where you should decide to go but I felt welcome there, I just had my own home church.
All churches have problems just as all marriages are not without them but it takes staying in there and doing what you know is right and the Lord will take care of the problems. Life is Life and we have to be overcomers to be victorious in anything we attempt.
God bless you as you search for Him and His will for your life.

Why didnt you continue to go there if it was so good? And if you have a home church what were you doing there?

Have you not ever heard of visiting other churches and fellowshipping with other christians?
When ppl read something why do they not get the true message and no pick petty things to question?
I think you got what I was telling the lady but you want to cast doubt in someones mind.
Well I'm not Stormy but I will do as she does and stand my groung when truth is to be told.
God bless you child.

You are off base here, lots of people visit other churches for various reasons, there is nothing at all wrong with that! Obviously you must not attend church, if you do I find it hard to believe you have never visited other congregations and other denominations as well, it is a good thing to feel the annointing and spirit of God, have you ever experienced the same?

As a matter of fact I have. But we were taught that if we were having church at our home church we were expected to be there to back our church. If it was an off night or there was a revival on a night we did not have church then yes we did visit other churches for fellowship.

Remember you shouldnt judge!!! I have visited there and the pastor was very cordial and nice, and so was his wife. Now there were a few folks in the church that coulda cared less if they welcomed me or not....Overall I feel like the atmosphere was a good one and when I decide to join a church I will condsider that one I guarantee!
