My dad lives in Dyersburg and is highly pissed about not being able to use the driving range. I will pass along boycott info. He had already said he would not be going to the restaurant anymore, but probably doesn't know about the Lupo's connection. He eats there all the time but I 'm sure he would be willing to boycott and spread the word. His buddies are also unhappy about the range. He plays all of the local courses and Troy. I will ask him if the same people own Troy. He will know.

Without non-members playing the course, they would not be able to stay open. There are simply not enough fat cats to support it as a totally private course. I have played there many times as a non-member but will not do so again. If they refuse to let the general public use the driving range, then we should refuse to play the course as well.

Count me in. I don't play Dyersburg Municipal much, but it looks like my new home course. It's a good course especially since some recent tree trimming. Also, the practice area is now the closest thing I now have handy to a driving range. Guess I will work on short game if the farms mgmt doesn't see what a bonehead move closing the public side of the range is.

I will miss Wynridge in Troy the most. I usually drive up there at least once a month to play. So the boycott includes the folli

So the boycot includes the following who either own or are affiliated with The Farns Driving Range. Are there other local companies they own that I can add to the list?

1. The Farns Golf course, 2. the Farns restaurant, 3. Lupo's Italian Steakhouse that runs farms restaurant, 4. Sister course Newbern Golf Course, 5. Wynridge Golf course in Troy.
