I'm a small frame woman that can do very little lifting and has no experience in factory related jobs but it seems like its the only market that's hiring. So what factory and position should I apply for that would be suitable for me in the dyersburg area?
Please if you don't have anything intelligent or informational to say do me a favor don't comment.....Thanks :)

You could try Omni-Tech located in South Dyersburg. I hear they are a good place to work but not sure about the hiring process. Many factories go through temp services. Hope this helps and good luck.

The temp services are the best places to start and you can also look online: www. Tn Department of Labor and Workforce Development and find job listings.

I know where to go but I don't know what position to apply for. I don't want to apply for something I cant do like heavy lifting.

It usually tells you if there is lifting involved. There is a job description at the bottom.

SRG in Newbern is factory work, but the parts are pretty light - especially if you can get in assembly.

I haven't worked at SRG but have several regular customers that shop at my store that do. I know one of the Maintenance Surpervisors there and other people that have worked there for several years. They all seem to like it and for factory work it is pretty good.
