If you met a new person that just moved to town, who would you refer them to if they needed a doctor?

Dr. David Guthrie He's a great doctor and good Christian man, if you're wanting narcotics though he's probably not going to give those out.

There are not any good doctors in dyer county.

A good doctor is hard to find these days. If Guthrie is a christian man, they are rare because most are athiest and do not believe humans have a soul. They want to be God and if you ask questions they don't like it and refuse to see you again.

a good doctor will fix the problem without you getting on drugs and merry go round so many are greedy for to get more money for them and their colleagues.

fix it and let them go, Most do not want to communicate they want to dictate and expect you to see them as God while they kill you.

Sounds to me like you have issues, for this person needing a doctor, like I said dr. Guthrie.

your name fits you very well. now when are you going to grow up?

It's true a good doctor is hard to find these days.

where in the medical field do you work?

I know a nurse that worked for a doctor and from her own mouth , she said she refused to do what the doctor said that she knew was not right.

She said No, and walked out. These good people are hard to find.

she did not tell me what the problem she had with what she knew was wrong concerning a patient. But she had the guts to say NO to a greedy doctors evil ways.

Good honest people are hard to find in any field of profession.

I understand what you're saying completely but that doesn't apply to every single doctor out there, so quite frankly I don't care about this nurses experience, someone asked a question and I stated my opinion of a good doctor. Thanks!!

I would reccomend Dr. William Turner, at MedSouth. He is friendly, caring and he gets right to the problem, tells you what can be done to fix it. Takes the time needed, acts like you are the only one in the office.
Now don't go calling him I want to be able to get in the next time I need to see the Doctor.

Whatever you do dont go to any doctors at MedSouth. They are ALL idiots. They dont treat anything there. If you have anything other than the basic cough, cold, or high BP then they wont treat it.

Lived in Dyersburg for close to 30 years and would definitely suggest David Guthrie, would not suggest Dr. McKee unless you are good at diagnosing your own problems. I've always heard good things about Dr. Caylor also.

There are no good ones anymore. They all seem to only be interested in the insurance cards--not the patients.

Thia doctor is a fat liar and he is not a good doctor, he caters to those that want drugs, he does not have patience and he doesn't listen and he doesn't like question. if you ask him why he wants to send you hear and there he doesn't like it.

He is in for the money for his self and his colleagues only! He is nothing but a greedy fat crook. Men he will give attention to. women ask more questions and he does not like anyone to question him and talk about what he is doing , run him down the hall , after he refuses to answer your questions in the room.

He can be classified as some of the drug pushing doctors that use to be around, a pill pusher. smiling at the ones like him.

dyersburg has had only a few good doctors and I mean few.

Jack monnig is another doctor and Johnson that people need to stay away from. especially jack monnig. He's a butcher and a liar.

try to get to memphis and shop for a doctor if you can.

Maybe the problem is with you and not with Dr. Turner. I go to him and so does my wife. and we both like him and have never found him to be as you say.
He always takes time with me to answer any questions that I have. And he has never pushed any drugs on me, If he had I would have went to someone else a long time ago because I hate to take drugs of any kind.
He told me himself that he does not know rather a person has insurance or not. But will see them either way, because if they are sick they deserve to see a doctor with or without insurance.

I like to use Dr. Acula. He is kind of old but still good at taking blood.

Dr.Turner is my doctor also. He has always answered any questions I have had. He does his best to find out what is going on. He is not a pill pusher. I have been seeing him for several years. It must be you! We cut up and laugh. If I don't like something I tell him. He has never had a problem listening!

Dr. Machra at Volunteer Medicine across from the hospital saved my life two weeks ago. I never get sick and hadn't been to the doctor in two years. I walked into her office and she had me in the hospital within 15 minutes. She treated me in the hospital as well.
