I have a friend that I asked me how much I would charge to clean his whole house. It is a 3 bedroom 1 bath house. It has a living room and a den. This includes dishes, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, laundry..the works. I have no idea what to charge! Can someone help me out here please?

Charge 8.00 to 10.00 hour work as fast as you can, not to take any advantage of your friendship. Do a good job and just tell them the truth. Or you can ask him up front what he thinks would be a good amount to charge. See what he has to say. Good Luck!!!! Friendship & house cleaning is hard to mix. Is the house really a mess?

Yeah, it is a mess! LOL! He is a single 29 year old, and his two lil girls are there often. He asked me how much I would charge. I know money isn't an issue with him, and that he will pay me whatever. I actually wanna give him a really good deal since we are friends. I just thought about it. Why don't I just do it for free?

That is a very good friend to do it for FREE but couldn't you use so money. Money is harder to ask for if you decide later it is too much work for free. Your time & gas to get there will cost you. You have to make the choice. GOOD LUCK

damn! 50-60 bucks is cheap. i wish i had someone that i could trust to not steal from me and come in and do a good job for that cheap. i clean it by myself and its a small home. i hate laundry and often just toss clean clothes in the bottom of the closet. im allergic to dust! its not that i mind cleaning but it would be nice to walk in and it already be done! i live at lakewood! any takers with references?

I agree with Lakewoodliving. It's not good to mix business with friendships or business with family. My friend doesn't live in D'burg. I called him last night and told him that if he would pay for my gas there and back, then I wouldn't charge him anything. He knows I love to clean and do laundry. Yeah, I could use the money, but I like to do things for my friends. He is pretty special to me.

NOT ENOUGH MONEY in the world to pay me to clean someone else's house. Mine takes me forever and I sure don't want to clean anyone else's house. Thank God there are people who will clean house. They deserve all the praise and money they can get!!!!! YOU GO HOUSE CLEANERS WHETHER MEN OR WOMEN!!!!!!!!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!
