Is this a good place to purchase a descent vehicle? It looks like he has got some pretty nice vehicles on the lot. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Gibbons is too high! Seriously $6,500 for '04 with 192,000 miles is stupid.

YES!! Purchased an 03 Chevy in December 2011, checked out fine. Still have it today. There was no typical salesman pitch. Will buy from Johnson auto again when I get bored with this one.

Don't do it. I purchased a car at Johnson's and the thing got hot and blew up the motor and all of the oil leaked out of the bottom. I had to practically run from it, because it was smoking so bad. I heard the water boiling so hot, that I thought the hood was going to fly off a 1000 feet in the air.

What a dumbass to run a car hot! thats why they put a temp gauge right in front of your eyes. When the car gets hot pull over. You probably didnt have enough sense to know that anyway. Stupid people!!!!!!!

Buying new is throwing your money away. You lose thousands the day you drive it off the lot. If you know what you're doing, you can drive a different late model used vehicle every 5-6 months without losing a dime to depreciation.

We bought a truck from Jimmy Johnson, we had a couple of issues with it. Anytime you buy used, there can be issues though. We took it back by there and they sent it off to be fixed, with no questions! We would buy from them again.

Its income tax time. Figure these car lots started this thread for free advertisement. To try to get your tax money. Also every time someone post a negative comment, two post positive comments. This thread was to get free publicity and to juice a good name by heavy positive posting. Any used car lot here anyway, makes there yearly income
Off our income tax. They hike down payments up and don't negotiate much on cash prices. Why? Because odds are if you don't give them what they want for a vehicle. Some divorced naive mom of 4 getting 9 grand back in taxes will. How everyone acts wild and crazy on black friday. Well the next month or so is black friday everyday for a car dealer especially used. Be careful don't listen to anyone. Be thorough on inspections. Be watchful for new oil. Watch the salesman pen on paper while finalizing sale. Check your value of purposed vehicle online and carfax it before you buy it. And after all that you still got 50/50 chance, you might end up with a good vehicle. Don't get in a hurry, don't let a salesman keep you distracted when looking over a vehicle or putting numbers down on paper. I don't care what they tell you. Watch your price once pen hits paper for you to sign. I've seen salesman say a number that sounds good but once it hit paper alot of side fees fluffed the price in their favor for 500+. Just be careful folks and spend my hard earned taxes wisely.
