Really. And to think they want to stop Saturday delivery and raise rates again! These USPS employees get some of the most generous pay packages & retirement benefits of anyone. Our military guys/gals don't get this kind of package and they're on the job 24/7 & can get killed.

The PO people just deliver mail and maybe deal with a bad dog from time to time. They get 13 days a year just for sick leave the first 3 years- not counting vacation! After 3 years they get 20 days a year sick leave!

Can you imagine 20 days a year just for sick leave? Even part timers get 13 days a year!

Karen, at the Friendship Post office, opens and closes at her convenience. Most of the time, at least she'll post a little note about what time she'll be back, but can't really depend on that either. Sure doesn't do things like Mr. Sonny did. He was the greatest!!!

I've never paid a fee for a checking account. In fact, many checking accounts pay you interest if you're responsible enough to maintain a minimum balance.
