Why is it that the whole dyer pd goes out of town and then all you hear is how much they are partying at the bars and saloons. That's all you hear arounf dyer anymore is how sorry our pd is lately. You guys are suppose to be getting educated not partying. Its a shame most of them get paid for 4o hrs and usually work only one or two days. Sorry sorry how low can you go.....

Always has gone on and always will. Ask them about their last arrest. It has been so long they probably dont remember. The mayor and board love them and can see no wrong in what they do or fail to do. They soak up $500 thousand a year from the Dyer taxpayers and let drugs flow freely. They have got a real gravy train and are allowed to party and drink every Thursday night. It will all come to an end someday. Shame on the mayor and board for letting them sit on their asses and do nothing.

you are exactly right about that we are paying our taxes so they can cheat the system and paying their gas to. They are as mixed up in the shit that goes on in town that's why no one gets busted.they never work a 40 hr shift but they damn sure get paid for it. This town would be so much better if they would get rid of the 3 stooges. Hell they hang out all time at that ole run down bar THE HILL and mess with all the young girls ask them about the fight they got into there guess it got slid under the rug to.....karma don't like liars and cheaters and their day is coming and goin to sit back and wait....

What gets me is how they let certain people get away with anything around there. I went to see my aunt at Dyer Grain one day and I saw that man who owns wrights garage drinking and i said something to someone else and they said yea he drinks everyday over there. Even works on the cops cars while he is drinking and they know it that is how he keeps them off his back..my my small town politics

I don't have a problem with anyone having a drink on their off time, it's not like Dyer cops have any murders to solve or anything. I also don't have a problem with the cops nailing a few skanks, if it makes their life easier thats fine with me.

There's so many things wrong with this post, it's hard to begin. It's okay with you for people to commit adultery is just a minor point here. Cops should set examples, and if they're not good examples, don't flaunt their sorry lives in public. You said "..if it makes their life easier" - easier from What? Getting paid good money for doing almost nothing most of the time while I'm paying for them to hide out is not my idea of stress.
I don't think you're for real, and if you are, you're a cop or somebody a cop is giving a free ride.

Having a drink on their day off is fine ok but what bout them calling others to cover their shift when they are suppose to work just so they can go out rididng screwing and getting drunk...is that fine with you also and then the city paying two folks to work one that did work the shift and the other was partying but still turned in the hours as if they also worked. That's bullshit cause it stealing and we are paying taxes for them to steal WTF man. They all have their little click and I hope one day they all get it. What's goin to happen if they wreck drunk and hurt someone is it goin to be ok and look good then. The chief is afraid to say anything its a buddy system but one day the system will all fall apart.....they know who the drug dealers are here in town and back them up cause its where they get theirs from I guess....

Cops are just like bums and criminal type people. They have the same character, but cops get to hide better and people suck up to them because they have some authority.

Kara its not the cops fault that hoes throw themselves at them. If they're underage then call up the tbi and they'll arrest them and they'll lose their jobs. But its not the cops fault that sluts like a man in uniform :)

What a cop does on their own time is their business. If they are off the clock and not getting paid at the time they are out drinking or whatever, then I don't have a problem with it. That would be like getting off the timeclock at your job and them telling you that you can't go out and have a drink or anything else. If a cop happens to get involved with someone other than their spouse, it isn't our business either, especially if they are doing it on their own time. As a citizen of Dyer, I do have a problem however, I seriously disagree with the Dyer Police being able to drive their patrol cars home and some of the them live way out of town (like in Medina & Humboldt), my tax dollars are paying for their gas and I don't like that. Dyer needs to be like most other towns and require their officers to reside here.

The $500,000 police budget should attract good police officers instead of our citizens having to settle for lazy, drunken, whore chasing, worthless men living off the town of Dyer. Maybe Younger will address the problem. I am sure I am not the only one who is ready for this embarrassment to come to an end.

Look I'm not the hugest fan of the PD. I think Paschall is a fat idiot and loser as a person, but I think the police department do their jobs. Dyer yas been fortunate in we havn't had a murder in years, there aren't meth labs all over the place, and there is almost no violent crime. To me, that means the police are doing their job. I don't care if they're alcoholics in their off time or who they're screwingg around with. They do their jobs. You look at any other town thats as run down as Dyer and that has the same unemployment rate....you'll find a lot more crime than what we have in Dyer.

I heard that a lot of folks were wanting to hire the deaver man back as chief. Don't know how true it is you know how folks talk. I agree they do need a whole new group and this town needs a lot of things and when you are chief you take care of things instead of sliding them under the doormat....
