Haha I know where you're talking about... I have no idea but it's been that wayfor years. My guess is a)she owned that corner house or b) she was active in assisting crossing the street there at 213, with the school being so close, and perhaps it was dedicated at some point in the past.

She was the crossing guard there for many years -- for kids to cross 213th to get to Protsman. So, they named the corner after her. She's retired now, but lives in Dyer.
