I think those "Watch out for motorcycles" bumper stickers are the dumbest. I'll tell you what, if you ride a motorcycle, you better be watching out for me, because if we get into an accident I'm not going to be the one in 300 pieces all over the concrete. Half the people on motorcycles I see are on those f*cking crotch rocket things and they're just asking to be killed. Many don't wear helmets and they're riding in between cars like it's a f*cking race track. I'm not watching out for those assh0les, if they want to be ground beef all over the highway, so be it, not my f*cking problem. Trust me when I say that you putting a bumper sticker on your car, telling me to watch out for motorcycles, isn't going to make me watch out for anything. In fact, It may just make me watch out even less.

lets not forget the crapheads on harleys. They are equal offenders as the crotch rocket kids. Only diference is the harley guys have to play dress up while they do it.

Seriously. If it's so dangerous to ride a motorcycle, you should probably make a point to make yourself noticeable. Not just b*tch about how car drivers need to pay attention. Get off the moped and get 4 wheels under you.

Im sure this is coming from someone who cannot afford a bike or a car. Cash your welfare check, get on your ten speed and go grab a 30 rack of PBR bottom feeder.

It's amazing how many assumptions someone can make in two sentences. Trolling successful.

Anyway, I mean I feel bad for the family of people that die from motorcycle accidents - but you can't help but wonder if they would still be alive if they had a frame around them and 4 wheels to the ground.

Id espect nothing less from inbred welfare recipients like those from Oneida and the surrounding area to make such statments. May you fall thru the floor in your rotted out trailer and snap your ankle with a compund fracture. I know you have no insurance so it will get infected from all the bacteria kept in your mobile homes, which will cause you to die a slow death.

To the intelligently challenged masses who are posting above me please go take a bath in gasoline and smoke a Marlboro, your ignorance is causing me to break out in hives. Not all motorcycle riders drive like drunken 15 year old boys, and for the ones that do they should be given a ticket and have their bikes impounded. For the rest of the motorcycle riding populous the biggest danger to them is people not paying attention, talking or worse yet texting while driving, following too closely etc. We lost a good friend, and fellow soldier two years ago not because he was driving like a asshole,or not wearing proper safety equipment, but because some dumb bitch was in a hurry and crossed four lanes of traffic, leaving him with no time to react. Because of one person not caring enough to pay attention he is dead, his wife is a widow, and his children have no father. He survived multiple tours in Iraq only to be killed at home because someone was too busy to pay attention. I pray that you never know the pain of having someone you care about be killed because of an inattentive driver, but you better pray harder that your not the driver that kills them.

I've been to iraq a few tours and even I'm not that dumb to ride a bike on an 8 lane highway. Bikers need to start thinking. I too know a biker who though he had enough time pulling out of a parking lot. He was not speeding but pulled out quickly only to smash into a car that was just pulling out. He spent months in icu and now leads a miserable existence. Know who took the blame? The dude in the vehicle. If you ride a bike is your responsibility too, not just the cars. Bike riders seem to think that they are special because they choose to do 80 on two wheels and a tshirt. Screw them. And as a fellow vet, that moron should of known better. He screwed over his family, not the merging car driver.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, when you make the choice to ride a vehicle that's essentially a motor and two wheels - you take responsibility for driving appropriately. Guilting people who drive cars into "Watching for Motorcycles" is a cop-out and is there to make motorcyclists feel better when they hit the streets.

I drive a car, I do the speed limit, and I follow the rules of the road. If someone driving a car fails to do so, that's there fault, but it doesn't justify complaining about how car drivers need to watch out for motorcyclists. You're the one riding on two wheels, you watch out, not me.

Are these comments for real, this mornings run into work: 2 cars pulling out into my path one from a side road one from a driveway. 1 mile up the road a large truck tried to side swipe me even though it was my right of way, tried to avoid this to find a car trying to overtake me on the right!! okay I accept that there is the minority of idiots out there as there is with the hot hatch cars etc but put your brains into gear all we are asking is to look properley before pulling out, using the old excuse that "I didn't see the bike" is a lame and overused excuse. If you can't or won't drive with consideration to other road users then F*** off the road.
