Dr. Whittington is great, he is down to earth and easy to talk to , Iím a diabetic since i was seven this is my first pregnancy, My endocrinologist recommended him. He knows what he is doing, my sugars have never been better, Not many doctors give there cell numbers to there patients (he did) i give him a call and he adjust my insulin and i stay out of the hospital. How great it is. I saw another doctor in town before getting pregnant she had no clue about diabetes in pregnancy and told me I would have to go to Oklahoma city to have my baby.

I personaly don't care for Dr. Whittington. i went to him once and I will never go back. He has an attitude and thinks he is better than all the other Doctor's. He did surgery on my mother and when he came in her room to check on her her was very short and rude to her. I also have other family members and a very close friend who have used him and siad they would not ever go to him again. I know everyone has their own views of him and I'm just stating mine.

I don't think you have the right doctor, I know for a fact he is not rude to his patients i am one of them. I work with Dr Whittington every week I dont know how you could say "he thinks he is better than the other doctors" or "he is rude" Sounds like you have some type of vendita. Dr Whittington rubs some nurses the wrong way because he makes sure his patients are taken care of well and his patients do well. Trust me you want to be his patient...... just my opinion from someone in the know

A friend recomended me to Dr Whittington, I found him to be very nice down to earth . My exam did not hurt like it has with past doctors. He spent time with me talking about non gyno stuff and fixed my hayfever. I must say I was pleased.

I have to say that Whittington is one of the coolest doctors around. He's definitely down to earth and laid back! He is a great doctor and has delivered all 3 of my sisters babies, at least 1 of my brothers babies and my little sister is prego and uses him and i am prego with twins and just started going there. He is a great doctor and I knew i wanted him for this pregnancy just because of the way he has treated my other family members.

He likes to try and make you feel comfortable instead of making you feel like some random dude is diggin around in your lady parts! I always get uncomfortable about that but he just tried to make me feel at ease and more comfortable. His nurses are the same way as well. They have all been nice and treated me way better than any other nurses I have had! I just wish I could deliver in his clinic with his nurses. LOL. That would be great! But I trust the other nurses at the hospital to be caring and everything too! I haven't really known many L&D nurses to be mean. But i definitely recommend him and hope you all find the right doctor for you!

I think Dr. Whittington is a self serving arrogant money hungry doctor, that doesn't take quality time for his patients. He is to worried about running them in and out to collect as much money as possible from the well-fare patients and from insurances, instead of providing good quality care. I personally feel like he doesn't truly value the lives of his patients or their unborn babies. If he did he would learn from his many mistakes and become a better doctor. I hope that he changes for the benefit of expecting mothers and their unborn babies. From experience, I would not recommend this doctor to anyone!

I have had personal experience with Dr. Whittington. He cared for me during my pregnancy and I know first hand the result of his poor patient care. I do not reccommend anyone to see him. He is self-serving, arrogant, and DOES NOT LISTEN to his patients. He does not care about his patients or the unborn and really should not be practicing!!!

Dr Whittington Took great care of me with my pregnancy, He was friendly never rude. He spent more time with me than any doctor I have seen in the past. He has alot of patients but i never felt rushed Dr. Whittington allways answered my questions and listed to me when i was having problems. I dont have insurance now and have seen him two times and he didn't charge me for that and a ultrasound so i know he is not a money hungry doctor... I send all my friends to him and they like him. Nothing is greater than free speech except when it is a lie, Looks like some one does not have facts straight. I worked with doctor whittington, So with this being said, He has never turned away a person in need for inability to pay EVER. Not employed by a hospital so he can not charge patients if he doesnt want to. Dr Whittington is a workaholic because he likes it not because he has to. Self serving probably NOT look around any other docs given like a dozen defibrillators to schools. You will NOT find a smarter OB/GYN when there is an emergency the hospital staff want him there. Spend two minutes with him and tell me if he is rude you can't. Every one has something to say negative about any doctor but it should be the truth he is a great person and doctor who cares for his patients.

That is YOUR opinion. However, it is not mine and I am not lying about anything. My husband and I had a horrible experience with him. Our child's safety was at stake and I would never, never lie about a person. Please respect my opinion, as I know that everyone has different life experiences, but please do not call "LIAR" when others disagree!

Sounds like Tball mom needs to chill alittle! Calling people liars, seriously! This is a review post, where people give their reviews and experiences. You had a good experience with this doctor, I had a terrible one with the same doctor, so does that make one of us a liar. You state that he is a good doctor and that he has given this and that to different schools. I will tell you that at one time he had 4 newborn babies in the Baylor NICU, out of 80 babies he had 4 of them! I'm not talking about MCSO, but about Baylor! There were babies from all over the place and many different states, and he had 4 there at one time. That just doesn't happen! Now, that is fact, no lying!

Dr W is an awesome doctor, I know everyone has their opinions with good and bad experiences, just as well with their opinions with hospts and nurses, as I am a nurse as well. We as healthcare providers do the best we can and it's really hard to please everyone, but safety of our patients lives and taking the best care possible for them is our main goal! I have never had a doctor or known of a doctor especially is this day and age, pretty much be on call for my needs 24/7. I had some medical issues that I was dealing with and it was happening before pregnancy, but Dr W was the only doctor that would listen to me, even though he was a obgyn and my issue was more for a general doctor at the time, he referred me and took very well care of me to find out what was wrong, when he didn't even have too. On that note he sent me to the best doctors to specialize in what I needed. Even so I could call, email, whatever it took to reach him when needed, even for the most simple things, if they were a concern to me, he wanted to know! I'm sure I was a pain in the butt, but Dr W, his main goal was to take care of me and my daughter. I'm kind of sad now that I just finished my last visit for my postpartum visits, that I won't be having him as a doctor until I need him again, I say too bad he isn't a classified as a general doctor as well because he's awesome all the way around. I have many of friends that would stand on the top of the fact, that he's one of the best doctors! No he can't please everyone and no he can't control everything that happens, but God gifted him with a wonderful ability to care for people the best he can and he does it! My husband and I loved his character, he can take a tense situation and make it happy, so if you don't have a personality then he would be hard to take. He made the scariest parts of my medical issues at the time, less tense and more relaxed! I've had many people around here when we talk about him, continue to say we need to start a fan club for him! He's also very down to earth, he doesn't flash his money in your face, his wife and him are the most precious people, they'll speak to you out in public just to say hi. Dr W sometimes does get in a hurry, but that's because he is so well liked that he has so many patients, this man works 24/7 and is always available. He'll make sure your nurses take very well care of you and put you in your own room, whether the nurse likes it or not, his patients are top priority for him. I could go on and on, but I think I've said enough for now!

He was always in a rush. His answer to any problem was always, "Yup you're pregnant. Deal with it." He came in the exam room listen to the fetal hearbeat. I had to remind every time there was 2. He was in such a hurry he didn't even look at my files. I seen him once during the 24 hours of my labor. The nurses basically delivered my kids. Baby A's head was out & I was told not to push we had to wait on Dr. Whittington. He came in with a coffee in his hand. He had time to stop for coffee, meanwhile I have a baby hanging out of me & another to deliver. He also called me a pansy & said his grandmother could push better than me. I WILL NOT USE HIM AGAIN NOR WILL I SUGGEST HIM TO ANYONE!
