There is a better place to gamble in Durant OK. The machines pay better. Texoma Gaming is 20 miles west on Hwy 70, much longer play time too. I gave up on Choctaw. To bad I was a loyal patron for years playing the bigger $$$ machines!!

the casino was paid for before it was even built so construction costs have nothing to do with payouts (which are set by the gaming companies - not the casino). If you really want to know where the money goes try doing some research for yourself. The Choctaw Nation finances are open for review at the end of each fiscal year. If you don't want to loose your money gambling, don't gamble. It's just that simple.

Thank God this is still a free country and we can go and do whatever we want to. If you dont like the smoke dont go in there. If you dont like putting money in a machine dont go in there.

<quoted text>Are you an idiot? First of all don't hate on us Texans, just because you wish you were one... Any person that goes into a casino, knows that there is a huge posability that they are going to lose. If your lucky you could win. Key words if your LUCKY and COULD win. So, if you take more money than your willing to spend than that's on each individual if they end up with no money. And just because you haven't heard of any big winners doesn't mean there hasn't been any; Are you there everyday? I think the Chactaw Nation will be just fine.. They deserve every penny that comes there way. And always remember the reason the government helps the Native American people is because of what all of our ancestors did to them when they founded this country. The Native people never asked to be kicked off there lands after living here for 100s of years. So, unless you do some research on why the Native Americans live on reservations and recieve government funding then shut your mouth...
You tell them April & most of us Native American Indians don't receive any checks or Gov aide. We never aked Whitey to pilage, rape, kill our people or take our land, we didn't invite them over, but once they came we did show them how to survive so they wouldn't starve to death. BIG Mistake... Even most of the ones on reservations don't get checks, so whitey don't know crap, I've already told him before to take a history lesson. I do taxes for a living & guess what, I have plenty of customers that have been Big Winners there. He's not there every day, so how would he know?

ok, so after being a loyal gambling patron at Choctaw, and loosing lots of money......I can say tonight I'm happy with them. I hit over $12600 on three machines tonight. I won this in the old high stakes area on $5 & $10 machines. Finally, thanks Choctaw......keep it coming:)

Choctaw Casino is dumb. They need to not make so many casinos, and gas stations and fix the nearby highway. It has been like that for decades and nothing will ever be done about that. The extra traffic caused by the Casino just makes it worse. I don't gamble. If I did, I would never make the Choctaw Indians richer.

Now this is crazy! I had lost all of my money at the Choctaw Casino. No Biggie it happens all the time.Thinking about just mailing it down there and save some gas. Some Guy Walked up to me and asked me for gas money and I looked at him and laughed. The guy then asked me did I want to buy some weed for $10.00 right in the Casino. I told him I don't smoke weed. I only smoke fime cigars and only drink soda at the choctaw casino. While he was talking I could have used a drink. He started to upset me and I told him this is the wrong place to ask for money but if you think it is maybe you ask the ones walking in and not walking out..lol

You do realize that Indians did a lot of the raping women and killing children right... but white settlers did take over their land. So no one was really in the right and I have no problem with Indians just give them their firewater and they are great.

When the Indians start new construction, the machines get plenty tight. With all the money made from casinos and concerts, you would think the government would cut the welfare checks to the tribes. Classic case of double dipping.
haha so old news I know as dipping no such thing exsists we the people do not personally see or hold the money. It goes to programs we are told. Once u get assistanance from there u get no help from the tribe or vice versa. People believe we have it made but we don't someone does. As for the for the machines it a dang computer program that goes to a server and that server is connected to other servers we call a network. And also there is the progressive game those are nation wide that is y the jackpots are in the l
Million dollar range. Its always funny to see the double dipping come into play cause if that was the case I would not be working and driving nice cars lol

Yes I had to stoke the fire! I agree that Durant is one of the oddest places 4 a casino ..was it strategically placed you gotta wonder.? Cartman would have a blast with this one! Oh wait he already did somewhat...Us Texans won't see a casino unless it has water around it and it's on the border of a neighboring state. And that will be a cold day!
Somewhat off topic n down the road. I just I had a friend win 20k 2 times on the slots @ Winnstar in less than 3 weeks at the same machine..I bet you wanna know which one! All jokes aside he won 40k I saw the taxes taken out before payout!
We all think that Chief BigOtits don't pay out because we usually don't win. This place is a quick gambling trip nothing more! No luxurious bathrooms or pools so stop crying if you loose you knew it was a gamble b4 you left the house and Winnstar had the figures well figured. So stay home and give the losing money you would've lost to your children and you go ahead keep your winnings and see who really winns!
I'm glad it's not in my backyard you know they have the nicest continuous 1/2 mile of roadfrontage in Ok and that's more than the state can say! So what's wrong with this picture?
Ask a Indian what he or she thinks about any of this and you would be suprised? And why your at it ask a an Oklahoman what they think about Texans?
Btw..Don't believe that a true Texan wants to steal your water! We have as much say in that as you did in the Casino!
BTW..........Cheif Tightcheeks )( say ... "You've Been Thunder Struck ! "

I have been going here since they opened only because it's close to me (N TX). I agree with a lot of posts here. I can't believe I could have lost 25 hands of 3 card poker in a row if the game was fair, the dealer was rude to boot. The slots are a joke, most of the people that hit a good payout I suspect are plants (paid by casino).
I use to be okay about it because the Indians got screwed out of the country, but that wore away by the way they cheat. If more stupid Texans wake up, maybe they will be forced to run a honest place.
