a fund established to promote more violence?? Really, listen Im sorry that this women lost her kid, but realistically where was she when he was out and involved the shit he was.. No fund needs to be set up.. I for one am tired of the excuses that Dubuque's "unfortunate areas" are coming up with. Heres a simple answer. Clean up your neighborhood, teach kids responsibility, morals and work ethics.. You wont need a fund if you do your job as a parent.. My kids aren't out shooting anyone.. Maybe I should get a fund for parenting correctly.. Sheesh the bullshit has to stop..

I recall back 20 plus yrs. ago when Dubuque had problems with keeping out the trouble makers and made it out that the defenders of the city's traditions were on the wrong side of the argument. Funny thing is that they were right, all the problems that they said would happen have happened and really there is no reason to think the trend will correct itself. I hope the city developers are happy with the money they made for themselves at the price of a decent city.
