This guy needs to lead by example and quit hitting the food table and lose some weight. He won't be able to show the kids how to do anything with all that weight on him.

The man's physical size has nothing to do with getting the kids in believing in themselves again, look at Kansas head football coach Mark Mangino. Our kids knows he cares and strives to get the best out of them........

i played for coach ferry back in the day when he was the jr. high basketball coach. i,m here to tell you unless he has changed, he is a very good coach that demands respect from all of his players. and to you fyi you are right he is a very strategic person always looking for a way to out play the opposition.
GOOD LUCK COACH FERRY!! hope to see some old fashion smash mouth dupo football

The person who wrote from Des Plaines, IL....before you go shooting off your mouth, why don't you wait and see what he can do for the kids and the program...do not judge by someone's looks..it is not his looks that will win games and give the kids a positive outlook to believe in themselves it is the way he will lead and teach. You need to step back and take a look at yourself, do you lead in a positive way....doesn't sound like that to me??????

Wish him the best of luck. I understand he has had his eye on this position for a while now.

Another typical School Board hire. Who cares who coaches the football program because none of their kids play on the team.

Being a school board member is a thankless job, but it is getting old seeing them changing rules so the players on their kids team can play. Have seen and heard it being done in the jr. high and the high school since many of the new board have taken their positions.

I remember voting for this board because they have promised to focus on the school curriculum and work on bringing classes back to the district that were cut years back. I try to stay positive and stand behind this community, but sometimes it is frustrating.

I guess when my boy gets old enough I can run for the board and make sure him and all the players on his team are eligible or at least change the rules to suit his team.

Do you vote for the Dupo School Board living in Columbia??? Why would you worry about what is going on in Dupo when you live in Columbia? Makes since to me.
