I guess the only way to find out if it's a scam would be to show up at the park on May 12th at 9:30am and see if anyone is there.

I wonder why this is the first we have heard about this. I have asked around and no one seems to know what I am talking about---SCAM

There are a couple of produce coops going on in that area. There is another one being done in Waterloo another in Columbia. The group leaders are doing it w/ a large group of friends and family. I also think there might be one in the Edwardsville area but not for sure. This is one that is open to an open group. Check it out on Tuesday. It will be fun and lots of great produce. You do have to prepay and preorder since they only bring enough produce for those that have paid. I do mine w/ a group of about 35 friends on the Missouri side. This is done w/ volunteers that work together to get great produce at a cheap price.I also think they have talked about this on channel 5. Definitely not new but this is the first time it's being done at this park in the Dupo area.

This is NOT a SCAM, it is a really great deal. I am hoping to start a group soon in the belleville area. And you are welcome to come to the park and talk to anyone in the group and actually see what it is we get to bring home. If anyone is interested in being part of a new group forming in the west end of Belleville let me know, or if you would like to tag onto the group in Dupo you can contact myself of Jill, from this original post. My email is [email protected]

I have some people in my group that prefer to pay by check or cash. That is something you just work out with your group leader. Their is a group in Waterloo, not sure if she is full or not. Log on to the website and email using the contact link with your questions and where you would like to participate and they will take care of you.
