I was in the traffic, didn't look like much when we went through, like an accident or anything, I wonder if it was a jumper? who and where from, and they did NOT have one thing on the news about it when I got home. hmmmm.

You might be surprised how often this happens. Usually, the police talk them out of it, then they say "oh, it was someone thinking about jumping". Last year, I heard that about 3 times. It doesn't make the news unless someone actually jumps.

...The teenager was my best friend. the police had me go up there last night to talk him out of it. he ended up getting down and now he is in better hands and getting the help he needs. please pray for him and his family.

I tell you what......next time tell him to write on his facebook page for attention instead of tieing up traffic. My 60 year old father who is blind in 1 eye was driving home from work and was stuck for over an hour after working a 14 hour day. The thought of him having to drive downtown during a rainstorm tired was not something any of his family wanted to worry about just because some kid wanted attention.

We could all say the same thing about your dad...maybe if he is blind in 1 eye he shouldn't be driving and taking a chance on wrecking into someone in the rain, after all driving in the rain in part of driving-it does rain from time to time. In my opinion someone that is thinking of taking their own life is a little more serious than your dad driving in the rain w/one good eye(after all didn't the DMV give him his license, they must assume he can drive in the rain). I'm sure this kid taking his/her own life is not something their family wanted to worry about either. You are a very cold hearted person!

I don't think your opinion means anything to the people, after all we have been reading all your comments about the pizza place.

you people and the comments on here really do disgust me. you truly do not know what kind of fire you might be playing with making suggestions and comments like that. have you really ever lost someone close to you from suicide? because i have, and when i see things like this it hurts me so bad to even think about people talking that way to the person i lost. my thoughts and prayers go out to this dude and his family and friends.

and to "boohoo", cry me a river. if you cared that immensely you would have went to pick up your half blind father. if your father had wrecked coming home from his work, and someone reacted the way you did to this situation claiming "well next time you need to tell him not to drive. was just asking for a wreck. traffic was tied up all because some half blind old guy couldn't wait for the rain to stop to drive home." you wouldn't be too happy, i'm sure. sad people sticking their noses where they shouldn't belong.

Will all this mindless nonsense most people missed the real point of what happened. Maybe that is because they do not have a life themselves.

I have lost people close to me because they wanted to take their own life. I have also lost a lot of friends that still wanted to be here. It makes me mad that they took their own lives. If things seem bad enough that you think you should kill yourself you need to reach out. You may think nobody cares but there is alot of people who care whether they know you or not. Just think of the devastation you will cause. Think of your mother, your brothers and sisters, your friends. All of these people would rather help you deal with your little problems now rather than grieve at your funeral. Just remember that taking your own life will destroy other lives and possibly result in other suicides.
