Re Legislative pay raise
I think this is a very greedy thing to do. You whine when some of your precious perks were changed. You already think you are better than the rest of us and deserve those things. But it is just so hard to be in your shoes. Then quit! Why did you spend so much money to get there if it is so bad? You are not risking your life or trying to teach kids that do not respect you. No, you have the hard job of pretty much accomplishing nothing. You take trips when you do not need to and lets take along the family.
Most of us have worked hard. Many of us are now on a fixed income. But you take your raise,--- ignore the highway and roads that need to be done. There are other things that need to be done to bring Louisiana where it shoud be. But let the big get bigger. If you did not want to be there you would not be!
Why don't you clean up our state like the Governor wants? You might lose out on something?
