Donate money? That is what we pay our taxes for so these immigrants can get 'donated healthcare'. I have done all the donating I care to do for this huge immigration problem.
"Are we willing to help them'? I don't see them helping me, my family or my neighbors. So quit trying to push the 'oh poor immigrants' my way as I work 2 jobs, am raising a family and also it seems raising a generation of illegal immigrants.

The Exxon station is Cashiers is illegal headquarters during early morning hours. I heard the owner charged $5 a head for them to stand outside waiting for contractors who need workers.
Sylva Walmart is their headquarters after work. They stand outside in groups making unintelligble remarks to the women as they go in and out of the store. My daughter refuses to go without her dad or brother because they make her so uncomfortable.
I would spend my very little free time videoing all of this if it would do any good. Anyone know if it would hold up in court?
Thing is about that Exxon station have you not went inside and see who owns it and runs it. I say they are illegal from the way the look. I have asked the Jackson Co Sheriffs office to do something about this. They set accross the street from it and do nothing. Thing is on my way to work up there I don't know how many of these ILLEGAL MEXICANS have wrecked cars going or comming from there. I say if the law wont do anything about this then we need to step in. Take a truck up to that Exxon station get about 10 in the back and head towards SC line and I mean give it hell. If you loose a few on the way oh well. Drop them off like 60 miles away. Then go back get about 10 more. And anther thing is the people that hire the ILLEGALS when they show up at the job site. Whoever the owner is should say NO. If you can't hire LEGAL people to work for you then I will hire someone else. It looks like the goverment and local law is going to do nothing about this. So its time that we as LEGAL AMERICANS step in and do something. Im going there next weekend myself they better be carefull if they see a red Dodge truck...

Jackson Co. Sherriff's offc is corrupt- worse than Medford ever thought of. Mexico will freeze over before they do anything about illegals.

I believe we have a great Sheriff and a lot of good deputies. There are a few bad apples but it seems a lot less than before. From my understanding their hands are tied. Unless the illegals break the law or the Exxon owner complains there is no probable cause to even ask their name. Jackson county is supposed to participate in the federal detention program when it is available hopefully deputies will be able to question them then.

I was just thinking---~~~scarrrrry~~~~~~a nyhow, do you think that the Feds are not reacting to the illegal immigration and deporting as many as they could and should that Bushie is afraid of what it will do to the Mexican economy and the US interests there. Could you imagine what returning 2o million illegals BACK to their own country would do?

Let's quit imagining and do it and let the chips fall where they may!!! Maybe then some of our 'lost' factories will return to the US.

I think the feds should now aggressively seek out and deport illegals. The majority of citizens want something done about this and the failed amnesty bill shows that. Enforce the laws, secure the border and stop the invasion now.

Don't be fooled. This people want to take over and either intentionally or unwittingly are part of an ideology. For example, see the agenda of these enemies, and you will want them all deported.

We have to take away the magnets that draw them here. take down the "free" sign. Fine the employers heavily. build the fence. enforce the laws that are already in place. better yet, match the border laws that mexico has. very simple. I will vote for the one who puts this at the top of their agenda

You have this it all backwards ignorant gringos. It is gringo America which invaded us in 1846. It is gringo Americans who took our lands in Texas after we invited them to come and settle then make big deal over the Alamo, a battle that should never have been fought.

We are going to take our country back. New Mexico, Texas, Arizona and California were all stolen from us by gringo aggressors lead by your President James K Polk. Then you gringo azzholes will see. You will be the grunges doing the dirty work.

U.S. Grant,
"Causes of the Mexican War"
... Generally the officers of the army were indifferent whether the annexation [of Texas] was consummated or not; but not so all of them. For myself, I was bitterly opposed to the measure, and to this day regard the war [with Mexico] which resulted as one of the most unjust ever waged by a stronger against a weaker nation. It was an instance of a republic following the bad example of European monarchies, in not considering justice in their desire to acquire additional territory.
Texas was originally a state belonging to the republic of Mexico. It extended from the Sabine River on the east to the Rio Grande on the west, and from the Gulf of Mexico on the south and east to the territory of the United States and New Mexico -- another Mexican state at that time -- on the north and west. An empire in territory, it had but a very sparse population, until settled by Americans who had received authority from Mexico to colonize. These colonists paid very little attention to the supreme government, and introduced slavery into the state almost from the start, though the constitution of Mexico did not, nor does it now, sanction that institution.

continued from above

Soon they set up an independent government of their own, and war existed, between Texas and Mexico, in name from that time until 1836, when active hostilities very nearly ceased upon the capture of Santa Anna, the Mexican President. Before long, however, the same people -- who with permission of Mexico had colonized Texas, and afterwards set up slavery there, and then seceded as soon as they felt strong enough to do so -- offered themselves and the State to the United States, and in 1845 their offer was accepted. The occupation, separation and annexation were, from the inception of the movement to its final consummation, a conspiracy to acquire territory out of which slave states might be formed for the American Union.
Even if the annexation itself could be justified, the manner in which the subsequent war was forced upon Mexico cannot. The fact is, annexationists wanted more territory than they could possibly lay any claim to, as part of the new acquisition. Texas, as an independent State, never exercised jurisdiction over the territory between the Nueces River and the Rio Grande. Mexico never recognized the independence of Texas, and maintained that, even if independent, the State had no claim south of the Nueces. I am aware that a treaty, made by the Texans with Santa Anna while he was under duress, ceded all the territory between the Nueces and the Rio Grande; but he was a prisoner of war when the treaty was made, and his life was in jeopardy. He knew, too, that he deserved execution at the hands of the Texans, if they should ever capture him. The Texans, if they had taken his life, would have only followed the example set by Santa Anna himself a few years before, when he executed the entire garrison of the Alamo and the villagers of Goliad.
In taking military possession of Texas after annexation, the army of occupation, under General [Zachary] Taylor, was directed to occupy the disputed territory. The army did not stop at the Nueces and offer to negotiate for a settlement of the boundary question, but went beyond, apparently in order to force Mexico to initiate war. It is to the credit of the American nation, however, that after conquering Mexico, and while practically holding the country in our possession, so that we could have retained the whole of it, or made any terms we chose, we paid a round sum for the additional territory taken; more than it was worth, or was likely to be, to Mexico. To us it was an empire and of incalculable value; but it might have been obtained by other means. The Southern rebellion was largely the outgrowth of the Mexican war. Nations, like individuals, are punished for their transgressions. We got our punishment in the most sanguinary and expensive war of modern times."
