Looks like the new manager cleaned house. Lots of new faces working and you don't see a group of employees standing out front smoking all the time.

Unprofessional?

It's friggin' Walmart for crying out loud.

If the employees want to take a smoke break after dealing with some of the rude, mean, nasty customers, and or horrible management, Then why is it any of your business?

Walmart professionalism should include pretending to be nice to people and doing their jobs. Break time is their time.

Let 'em smoke if they want to.

You do realize its illegal for employees to smoke right outside the door as stated in the Tennessee Non-Smokers Protection Act of 2007.
.
More importantly, I hope they got rid of those rude morbidly obese women that ran the so called 'customer service' desk. Im gonna have to go by there tomorrow!

Well if the new manager wants to do something they need to get all the people walking around pretending to be busy and make them run a register everytime i go up there only 1 or 2 registers open and 10-15 workers walking around doing nothing!
yep

Job @the walmart in Dunlap=easiest job ever!
all you have to do is walk around with your head down dodge the customers and tell the ones that do manage to run you down you 'dont know' and keep going!

You don't have to pretend to be helpful, that you want to be in any way, or that you even work there and its your responsibility to be helpful. Just act like its a coincidence you showed up wearing a walmart uniform!

Firing that lazy pharmacist might help. We all need an indefinite lunch when we need a perscription filled or refilled. Why are his eyes always red and why is he so slow?

Nevermind the heavy-set customer service chic, What about the petite female cashier in the Express lane all the time? There is NOTHING express about her performance! She examines every item you purchase, slowley slides it across the glass and then has to plot her attack of bagging the item before she can figure out what to do next! She is the slowest cashier in the history of Walmart cashiers. I have had the displeasure of her lane once and that was the last time. With any luck the Manager wil help this place out.

The employees were smoking to the far left of the building, not right out the front door.

And you do realize the Tennessee Non-smokers Protection Act of 2007 is just another form of Governmental control and the abolition of the individual freedoms of business owners to run their business they way they see fit.

But, you're probably one of those people who wants the Government to control every aspect of your life and tell you what's bad for you, effectively removing your God-given right to enact your freewill and make decisions for yourself.

Step in line and get the new RFID chip so they can make all your decisions for you.

OMG I was there yesterday all the lanes were backed up but hers she had 1 customer and no one was getting in her line LOL includeing me she is the slowest cahsier I have ever been to and will never make that mistake again the other ladys cashed out 3 people and she still had the same person at her counter. I think she is slow on purpose so she doesn't get to many customers anyone that has ever went through her line never goes back. She needs to speed it up my granny goes faster than her. I agree she never says a word or even smiles not good customer service for sure the manager should pay attention.

Yeah that cashier drives me nuts!!! I was always wondering if anyone else noticed how rude and slow she was. Think I might talk to her next time I go in and ask her if she realizes how many people think she is rude and that someone needs to light a fire under her a**
I disagree

From what I understand the young lady you are refering to had a severe illness at one point in her life.

So yes, she is slow, but I bet she is grateful to just be here on Earth. Not trying to sound like a bitch, but perhaps you should be concerned why she is acting slower than others before you assume she is doing so purposely.

I had a cousin who was treated terribly because she acted different than others. She had survived Cancer twice, and yet people who didn't know about the tumors removed years before treated her horribly. When she passed away several who attended her funeral were even speaking of the way she talked so slow.

There but for the grace of God go I.

I also hope the new manager pays more attention than the last one to restroom and parking lot cleanliness. The last two times I have been in, the restrooms were filthy and the cleanliness checksheets on the back of the restroom door were blank. And I find it disgusting to have to step over old wads of chew in the parking lot to get to the store.
