Superior Tire & Auto Dunlap, TN

Anybody out there been scammed or disappointed by Superior Tire & Auto north of Dunlap on Rt. 127? I am beginning to believe that I have been scammed at great expense and time. Another day or two of waiting will prove me right or wrong. Looking for any other disappointed consumer's comments about this automotive and tire service company. Look forward to your posts.

Not saying we got scammed. I honestly don't know that for sure and can't prove it but we had a heck of a time with them on a few occasions. It seemed like every vehicle (3) we brought there for a specific reason came home with a new problem that wasn't there before, or a problem that we didn't know we had. Then we needed a whole new engine? They did tie our vehicles up for days and sometimes weeks waiting on parts, the wrong parts always seemed to come and have to be sent back.
We now go to Stockers and are very happy with them for the past 3 years.

i had them to put brakes on my vehicle. They were squilling a little and had the vehicle for a few years figured it was time. I got it home and the brakes went to the floor. I took it back twice and I still have no brakes.
UT Performance seems ok. They use brand name parts but my mom and dad are real satisfied with thir work.

a few years back i took my z34.red pulled it in right in front of the tire machine for a distributer gasket.when i got it back,it ran hot, scratches on the paint on fender,took it back,then took it back again,cause they had left the injector cover off.they will forevernever get one red penny out of this disable veteran.my brother also got the shaft.they need too rid this county of rippoffs and any other of their kind.let God deal with them.they don't know what god can do.take it too,UT or stoker the only good mech. in sequatchie co.or tenn. God have mercy on you.

A few years back I had taken a few cars there to be fixed always costing me a lot. I took my van because it was running hot they told me they checked it good and it had a blowed head casket. I asked how much to fix it. Said it would be over $500. I knew that was wrong all it needed was a thermostat. I bring it home tell my son to go get one and put it in.I had it a few years more.

If you go with one problem, they will tell you 5 more other things wrong. this is my number of experiences with them. one problem breaks my account I can't afford all they make up
will some one take a brand new car so we can hear whats all wrong with it.

I'm not sure about the service there because I check my POV on my own and buy the needed parts and repair it myself, but I noticed some of you said stuff about them finding more problems and some saying your vehicles came back with more problems, well actually a lot of times you go in to fix one and take notice of another problem. Also when you fix a problem a lot of times another will begin to show. Car repair shops work hard but since they get payed flat rate they try to hurry sometimes and maybe make mistakes, we all do stuff like that though. Oh and from experience, any problem can be fixed within 3 days if done right so I'm not sure why it would take them longer unless they had several others waiting. When I've worked on mine I can get it done in 3 or 4 days maximum no matter what the problem is doing it alone so if they are taking even that much working at least 10 hours a day with 6 people working like they should have, it should be able to be finished in just a day unless their are a lot of others waiting before you.

To the boys at Superior: Don't listen to these fools who get mad when you tell them what is wrong with their car. I'm no expert in cars and I DO want to know if something needs to be replaced before I find myself on the side of the road at the mercy of some of these wackos.
