Residents moving from other towns along with them bring there pets and crime and some good residents while others bad. No police means no law for them which means life's in danger. No officer in charge of picking vicious dogs dogs running wild and kids and people in danger. A person without a police badge people don't respect and the catcher fears them. Seen it in the past. Shame new council

The police get no support from the council or the the city manager. Watch the video from the last council meeting. All you hear is Diana Silva cry about re-naming the community center back to Victor Lopez name. She's more concerned about renaming a center than the safety of this city. She won't lift a finger to do something about all the shootings or problems the city has. Diana and Victor and the rest of the council could care less and have no idea how to do their job. That's what the voters get who voted for them so its not only the police's problem because this council has never lifted a finger to support them. Remember they voted against the PD.

The cops do a wonderful job. Sam lives in Sanger lowpez in dinuba so they care less about being robbed or crime. The rest of orange cove. How sad to risk life's of the city they live how can they sleep. A life maybe there's or a loved one in danger who to call 1800 sherrifes an hour later LOL a joke. Cars speeding and crime in rise..

Lopez took the animal control from the PD most likely to open a job promised for ballots. In the process, wonderful Victor broke the agreement between the PD and an animal rescue shelter, that found homes for many of the Orange Cove stray dogs.

Now, because Lopez supports the PD by removing animal control from them, all of the dogs in the OC shelter will be killed after 3 days.

How could dog lover Bertha Del Bosque just sit there nodding "yes Victor" week after week, knowing that under the PD, many of the dogs were getting homes - but now, because Bertha helped commit vote fraud, these innocent animals will all be killed - kudos to the new council for doing things Victor's way. And was that Diana Guerra Silva moaning in a council meeting that the Orange Cove Community Center should be named after a drug-dealing, lying, thieving, corrupt, vote stealing fraudster named Victor P. Lopez?

The Lopez name is a cancer and a pox on Orange Cove. It is a stigma of corruption and malfeasance, an embarrassment not only to Orange Cove, but to the entire Central Valley. Can Lopez name one city in the surrounding area where his imported drugs have not created addicts who steal everything they can get their hands on to feed their addiction? Can Lopez name one city that has not been touched by gang violence - those who sell his imported drugs - and the maiming and death of so many young people fighting over territory?

Lopez should have been put away for life in the 1970's for his drug dealing and vote fraud. He has slipped through the fingers of law enforcement for 4 decades...

Yet, all it would take is for law enforcement to look at the BMX corruption and cover-up by Lopez, in addition to the theft of City property and money by David and junior that Lopez covered up... Of course there is the 4 decades of fraud and corruption at Target Eight that will also send Maurice Castillo, Diana Guerra Silva and others to prison... Or perhaps they will prosecute the vote fraud this past election and nail 4 council members...

So much corruption from one individual... hey, let's not stop at renaming the community center, how about renaming the City after Victor and calling it "Cheaterville" - after the main cheater himself...

What does Mayor Gabriel Jimenez have to say about all this? Does he turned a blind eye to Victor and Diana or does he really believe in the things they're doing for the city?

OCPD responsible for animal control???? HA! Give me a break!

Long before the new council was seated and Chief Steenport put on admin. leave, there was (and still is) an epidemic of dogs running loose in the streets. This was with the OCPD having a full staff of officers.

The few times I did see the animal control truck with an officer in in, it was parked in some isolated area with the officer talking on his cell phone. The usual spot was at the far end of 2nd street, near the ball field.

If owners can't be responsible and keep their dogs in their own yards (or even put collars on them) the dogs deserve to be caught & killed!

The "new" guy is the old guy Lopez had working as animal control. Probably a nice guy, but certainly not up to the job. Lopez hired him most likely in exchange for some absentee ballots.

I've seen this guy abandon his vehicle in the middle of the street, running, as he chased a dog with a net - for over half a block - without catching the dog. The animal control vehicle was running, with the drivers door wide open, blocking traffic on a busy school day outside of McCord School a few years ago.

When he was replaced by the PD, they did a better job and hooked up with an animal rescue shelter that found homes for the strays.

I wonder how many ballots this guy gave to Victor in exchange for his "job"?

Where Lopez goes, chaos follows...
