"Read my lips: no new taxes."

That pledge was the centerpiece of Bush's acceptance address, written by speechwriter Peggy Noonan, for his party's nomination at the 1988 Republican National Convention. It was a strong, decisive, bold statement, and you don't need a history degree to see where this is going. As presidents sometimes must, Bush raised taxes. His words were used against him by then-Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton in a devastating attack ad during the 1992 presidential campaign.

Son George W Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq then blames poor intelligence , yeah George it was your poor or lack of intelligence that got our soldiers killed and hacked up . all over a vendetta because they put a hit on your daddy. I am sure those soldiers and families appreciate that. Then there's the bill to pay for that private vendetta , Billions of dollars! Liar is too kind of a word.

S our guy lied and your guy lies and everything is okay. That's a liberals point of view. A man, a True Americans would say, Bush lied, Obama Lies, what are we going to do about it. Our system needs change and only we can do something about it. Vote out any incumbent. That's what a real Patriot would do. What you say Stanley?

There were no "new" taxes imposed by Bush 41. The Democrats held a knife to Bush Sr. throat and raised the exisisting personal income taxes all the while knowing that they could use a stupid fool tool like you to perpetuate the lie!

Stanley works on the "two wrongs do make it right" theory.....if they think a republican lied in the past its ok if its done by their man now.

im not sure how "no new taxes" compares to "if you like your plan you can keep your plan" or "your health care costs will drop $2500 a year on this plan" equates on the lie scale, but a lie, is a lie, is a lie.
so I ask...with Obama on the verge of crippling 1/6 of our economy, how do the dems plan on lying their way out of that?
they tried hanging it on mitt but that aint sticking as well as they thought. back to the blame pool they must go to find another excuse for their failure.
