What does "check into a story to a reporter" mean? Are you somewhat confused? Have you the names of those who witnessed the envelope exchange yet? It's been well over a week and the story you started is getting cold. Snap it up there son so I can get Jimmy on the story ok?

Perry you keep saying I saw the envelopes and other stuff I didn't say. Please state the posted date that I said I saw envelopes being passed.

What I told you was how to be a reporter and call the ex-mayor and ask him about getting a job at the hotel which under his mayorship recieved hundred of thousand of dollars and which the city is trying to reclaim those funds. That is a simple request for the newspaper to do.

The good people of the city of Dunkirk, the taxpayers have a right to know that the ex-mayor is working for for the hotel which owes the city hundreds of thousands of dollars.

It doesn't even pass the smell test. An 80 plus year old ex-mayor gets a job at a hotel that owes the city hundreds of thousands of dollars. Do you hear me. Its sad that the local newspaper runs from that story. Like I said, it should have at least made the "worst of the week" column.

The story isn't about money being passed. Its about an 80plus year old ex-mayor who during his time in office authorized hundreds of thousand of dollars in loans to the hotel. The hotel never paid them back. Now the city wants the money and HUD is pushing it. Doesn't that look a little odd to you????? Why don't you ask HUD or the present Mayor what they think of him working there?

Why don't you speak with the council members about it?

Why don't you use a FOI request, interview the principals, and then write an OPED? We will print it. Get going there "Danny Boy",a bright future awaits you! CLUE-you actually have to get off your butt and put some miles on your soles. Good luck!

Hey Perry, thought your comments about the fact the Observer's doesn't print rumors was true. Then I just read the Observer online article titled "Hanover discusses rumors heard about Petri's". Guess someone forgot to give you the memmo. LOL at you fool.
You should have read what was said and what you repeated Ron. We did not print any rumors,we reported that Hanover was discussing rumors. Think about that for a moment. Maybe you and Danny Boy could apply for the job we have have open. We might be able to fit a Lois & Clark type team into our organization. I'll bet the stories would be "super".

You have failed the first part of the interview by not once again reading and being able to understand what I said.

You mean to tell me that public assistance pays more than 8 dollars an hour? I might just get Jimmy O out there to investigate.

Do you suppose that question sort of coincided with the snowmobile trails article?
