If you're really concerned about how failed investments affect taxpayers, you should read more about how Bain Capital operates. The bankruptcies they engineered have done far more damage to us all. Of course, you're not really interested in that topic, you only look for the stories that allow you to try to pin something on Obama. If you had an interest in how the financial sector affects hard working taxpayers, you would be terrified of having a sociopath like Romney for president.

And how much money did Bain Capital get from taxpayers? Of course you forgot that many more jobs were saved than lost didn't you. Now please if you can't comment on the topic, start your own thread.

Clearly, all you've heard about Bain is Fox News telling everyone Mitt's a genius because he got rich there. They used leverage buyouts, putting up about 2.5% of the money, to buy companies. Then they'd have the companies take out $millions in loans, that would transfer to Bain, then the companies would be forced into bankruptcy. They put thousands of people out of work, transferred industry to other countries, and skipped out on BILLIONS OF DOLLARS in loans. Who do you suppose pays for those unpaid billions of dollars in loans? Who pays for all of the loans and mortgages that those displaced workers can't repay? You can bet your ass the banks who hold those loans passed those costs on to us. That's how firms like Bain work. They privatize the profits of their successes and socialize the costs of their failures.

You keep crapping out threads like this. They're light on facts and heavy on bogus partisanship.

Now please provide for us the number of companies that went under as a percentage of what Bain took over while Mitt was at the helm. As well, did any of those that did go under add up to close to a trillion dollars in costs to the taxpayer?
