remember when he came here and fought having a nurses union at Lakeshore? He effectively got rid of almost all of the nurses over 35..the experienced ones who could save your life or at least made you comfortable no way they needed all these COOs and other very highly paid executives at 2 little rinky dink hospitals...and wheres the new hospital in Gowanda? should have been built by now. all this is about 4 years too late, but its a start

No reason to comment on either place considering neither of you know what you're talking about. It was a good move, but some leaders are neccessary or else chickens like you get out of hand.

I know, but apparently a few years ago I had an account there, and its not letting me change my user name. I should have had a user name like everyone else does..for privacy. All I want the public to know is he helped break a lot of hearts at Lake Shore..good people who devoted their lives to the place, and were true caring, intelligent professionals. First of all, you don't make the head of Nursing a lazy doofus with only an associates degree, who loves to gossip, and believes every cruel thing she hears. you need to know labor laws, and should have a Masters degree. She had everyone fooled by pretending to be a devout Christian...Im sure she made Jesus cry! You need experienced nurses to mentor and teach..its just not like a computer job. Brooks employees know they are safe because they are unionized....flashing lights should have gone off when he didn't wan the nurses union at Lakeshore, when he had one at Brooks!

He needed to go, hehas no compassion or time for the patients o their families, I had a huge issue at the ER at Lake Shore Hospital. It took me two months to get him to call me back and that was after calling every single day, I finally said that I would stand in front of the hospital with sign the following day if he didnt call me back, and guess what, within 10minutes he called me back, pretending to be concerned. Thank the Lord for Mr. Wild, who took care of my situation.

He had no compassion for employees there ;just wanted to spend the least amount possible in nursing budget. There was a huge amount of money for a new emergency dept when he came there. it disapeared somehow...lack of privacy is a huge issue there, as well as security..there is none! I would never go there again. psych patient being tazered in front of a nice man in early 50's having a heart attack? no thank you!

Already posted on the on line page, and yes that is a true story, I had a meeting with Mr. Wild and the doctor involved and was offered a settlement, Mr. Lawrence could have cared less about it, he only wanted to avoid media attention.

no, its under another name, curious as to your own personal interest in this, I take it you have had some personal experience with Mr. Lawrence. I will say this for Lake Shore Hospital. My husband had surgery there last year and I was not too happy that he decided to go there, but everyone was great and he had the best nurses at the hospital and during rehab, they were wonderful.

Why use a different name? Same story I presume right?

So I went back to the oberver page and my post was deleted, I am going to try again. Hmm! Regarding the other comments on the Observer page, who is this woman that he hired that they are talking about?

Linda Summers is the COO..not a local person. Ive heard from many people she is not nice at all. The current nurse manager is Shannon Garonski who has been out an associates degree program 4 years, and got a bachelors degree online. How she got that job is a mystery to all the good people who were qualified..maybe she partied a little with Jonathan. when she worked nights she basically stood outside and chain smoked. She had designs to climb to the top as soon as she got hired there. That hospital used to be a jewel..its so sad to the rest of us that worked there many years.

because I already had that set up with the observer, and didnt remember what it was, and I did find my post, I didnt realize that there were two stories about this. Do you know about the woman they are talking about on the Obbserver page? I am just curious, I dont judge people by what I hear, I can only say my opinion from my own personal experience.

I never heard of either one of them, I know years ago I worked there temporarily and I knew a lot of the nurses and they were wonderful, they dressed like professionals and always acted professional too, just seems so different there now. I dont know if you remember Octavia Smith? She always looked amazing with his whites and perfect nurses cap, I loved her. I did recently start cardiac rehab there and had to stop because of other health issues, but I was happy to see Bonnie Nobles still there. And Roseann is the ER is a gem, she was a big help to my case when I had a problem in the ER, and testified to the board that she felt that the Dr involved was in the wrong. I credit her so much for her honesty, because I imagine Mr. Lawrence could have made things difficult for her.

Lots of things are killing this country, like the hospitals we're stuck with around here!
