That is probably true. I can't wait to see the mutts that he brings in. If he keeps Ahlstrom, then we'll know that AJ got a contribution from Gambino as well.

Did anybody hear WDOE today? AJ was on as the new elected Mayor. Some one asked the question about his transition team who they were. No answer, but he did say that they were taken application.

Oh yes, political favors are owed. Doesn't matter who is actually best for the job. It's time to make all of those plum jobs Civil Service! Isn't Cerrie a Democrat like the guy on the Fredonia board that's always in the paper? They'd even screw one of their own to get Szot back in there to help pull AJ's strings! Full time! Disgusting waste of my tax dollars!

AJ on the radio Friday said that he will not merge the City Clerk position with the Treasurers office, He said that the Charter does not allow this because the Treasurer is an elective position. If he understands the Charter. which it seem he don't, the charter states that any one elected can only hold one elected office. It does not state any thing about an appointed position. If you read further it also states that all department heads elected or appointed may have additinonal duties as asigned by the Mayor. Correct me if I'm wrong.

He hits a woman with his car and leaves her for dead. Multiple suicide attempts. Now he'll be running the city. I thought nobody could be worse than Frey. Once again Dunkirk politics has proven me wrong

Lets not talk about how they left the last establishment 10 yrs ago, such short memories, now they are going back to the situation they voted them selves out of,right back to square one, right back to the devil they know, may be easier then the devil they don't know,it will be sad to see the preditory individuals come back like vultures to feed on the past 10 yrs, they have nothing to offer, they proved that allready, the city's coffers are their fodder,no, none, nothing to offer, bone heads, dumb asses, dead weight,no experience,no qualifications,no intelliqence, nothing, what a waste,a school teacher running a city, discredited individuals assisting, sad,no,this is the only alternitive, what a joke, done it before, doing it again,

the people of dunkirk have been electing losers for many years now.
shows dunkirk has an over abundance of unqualified people to do the job,and some pretty stupid voters that are willing to vote for them.

i left dunkirk 40 years ago for that very same reason.

Oh yes, Ron Szot for sure! Doesn't he have some issues. Seems I remember hearing some negative stuff about him a while back. I don't imagine he will come cheap either. Michael Cerrie does a fine job from what I have seen and heard.

We're already off to a good start, FULL time city attorney on the payroll w/ bennies...and a FULL time clerk. So let's figure $150 grand just to start. Dolce is spending like a fool already and it's not even Jan.

Why thank you, "just sayin"......I am sure things have been said about me, but I am not the one that's going to be sitting in City Hall commanding a big chunk of the taxpayer's money.

As annoyed as this makes me...I shouldn't be surprised! Mayor-elect Dolce is planning on putting back in place a full-time attorney and city clerk position. Rumor has it that Janet Jankowski-George is his pick for clerk and MaryEllen Decker will be his choice for Personnel Administrator. What??? The entire democratic party within the city revolves around these 2 women! Does the new mayor need them at city hall so they can tell him what he can and can't do???
And people had the nerve to talk about Mayor Frey and his choices of appointees...I hope the residents of Dunkirk are strapped in...its gonna be a bumpy ride!
