there will be 50+ lay offs this week and some more before Christmas. Corporate offices are closing with some shuffling there. I heard they met their quota for the year and are content with that. But I also heard this is just strategy, needing a write off after buying the company. Tax time coming up and they needed to show a loss. So, I'm not exactly sure. Workers arent sure either..

Hmm maybe something to do with a certain letter sent by our new mayor elect? Of course they will never take blame for that. Hold on Dunkirk the ride is about to take off secure your seatbelts.

I feel for all the employees affected. Maybe AJ should mind his own buisness, since he can't even remember the difference between Yes and No.

You can bet if a union is voted in Cott will close the doors and won't look back. Then 600 employees can apply for those jobs Dolce is promising/creating.

Most food factories experience slow time during winter. Even the pet food plant. In summer they want you there every day 12 hours a day, in winter they want to lay you off. Unfortunately for some of my friends they feel this crunch every year around this time. Heating bills are going up and their income is going down.

I work at Cott and I get my 40 hours. I'm Captain America. Theres no job I cant do there. Maybe they need me to turn things around. At least I know what im doing. I have my bf at home that could always help me run the place and get rid of the lazy people there.

oh..you must be one of the team captains...a boss for every 3 guys, that doesn't know how to actually do the job...but you're not going to get layed off, so continue to sit in your little office, doing nothing...because you're ok!

Gee just maybe people aren't buying juice like they used too, might not be enough money to go around. With the price of gas over 3 bucks a gallon any xtra money I have goes to the gas tank and I drink ice water instead of juice and pop now.Times are tough all over. I don't think we can blame Dolce for that.

I think Dolce is partly at fault, Non-buisness friendly is a poor way to start a relationship with the new owners. Obviously the Economy plays a large part. Oh and if you drink water (something Cott-Cliffstar needs lots of) Don't thank Dolce for it. He didn't want to fund MANDATORY improvements to the water plant. So I think WE CAN blame Dolce for some of the issues at Cott!

The company I work for can't keep up. We've been adding one employee a week since June.
