I watched the HBO documentary "No One Dies In Lily Dale" tonight. I was wondering if anyone could comment on their own personal experiences from Lily Dale. The documentary left me undecided as to if there is any truth to what happens out there or not.
Yes, it is real. I have studied there for over 10 years and have witnessed and given remarkable readings. I feel that mediumship is a lot like playing a guitar. You could give the exact same guitar to Eddy Van Halen, B. B. King, Chet Atkins, and Eric Clapton and all four would sound different. It is the same with mediumship. People who are counseling oriented give counseling style readings. People like Greg Kehn, whom I have studied with, are very matter of fact. Some are mystical in nature, others extremely detailed. Still, they are all getting their information from the same source -Spirit. I believe Spirit is the same thing as Universal Mind, and I believe our ancestors or other departed "friends" can be the gateway to All That Is. Trust me, it IS REAL.

I went to Rev Kehn in the 90s. I was always a skeptic but have to tell ALL of you HE IS THE REAL DEAL. He knew things that nobody could have known. Details that i have never uttered to anyone in my life before. Knew only phrases and words that only my departed relative would say. Dont doubt or make fun of him in any capacity. He deserves nothing but respect and everyones support.

Had a reading with Rev. Kehn Why Rev.??? I was disappointed and unimpressed. He told me that my spirit guide was an american indian named "white dove". He told the same thing to the two people who gave me his name. I was disappointed because I had been to a psychic that was incredible and has since passed away.

My experience in Lily Dale is this...it's an experience, and that's it. Fun, can be sort of spooky, but mostly a lot of generalized BS that almost anyone could say and apply to just about everyone. Most of these "Mediums" are VERY good at reading people, they watch and pick up even the most subtle signs that they're on the right track. "I see an "M".. and your eyes widen slightly and then, "M", "Mary? Molly?.." you react, they say, "No, Molly, Molly for sure!" That's how it works. But, that being said, it's fun.

It's entertainment and nothing more. Save your money and stop being so gullible!

I have been to Lily Dale many times as well as my family. The HBO -"No One Dies In Lily Dale" in my opinion did not do justice to Lily Dale or the Mediums. Rev Gregory Kehn for one -is one of the most accurate mediums there- if not the most accurate. I not even sure that the second lady that was waving her Bible all over the place wasn't some actress. It is very odd that a someone so closed minded would come thousands of miles to a place they do not even believe in. They showed one healer doing a healing and never even touch on the beautiful Healing Temple. For anyone that has never been to Lily Dale and is unsure-- please do NOT base your opinion on what you saw on this truly "hollywood" version of such a peaceful and spiritual place. It was clear that all HBO was worried about was their ratings and not the true picture.
Can you tell me which medium you went to?

Lily Dale is nothing but a money maker to take advantage of the gullible, and those who have suffered a recent loss.

My husband and I went to Barbara Sanson in 2006, and I highly recommend her. She was very specific and right on the money on a number of things (contact with friends and relatives who had passed on) that only we would have known about, and we answered her mostly with just "yes" or "no" responses. I went a few years later to two other Lilydale mediums (don't remember their names) and it was a completely different experience. One psychic told me that she saw a "dark energy" in me, and that she didn't "know what that was all about." I could have told her that it was me preparing to tackle her to get my money back.:)
I had the same experience with Ellie McCabe Cratsley. 150% on the money. I'm very comforted I knowing some of my loved ones are together
