one thing I know for sure....Obama says flat out that he will not negotiate and that tells me a lot about whats going on in dc.
both sides have turned this into something totally unnecessary.
besides, the effects of any shutdown is always been stretched by the media. this is the 18th since the late 70's so it is not unique.it will get figured out and settled....and im not losing any sleep over it.
too dam old for that crap.
and fox news?...really?
why you folks insist that anyone who has a different opinion from you watches fox news?
I read enough about this without going to a news site who has an obvious axe to grind.
that's what the non thinkers do.
ive said for years now that this country needs to get their financial house in order and that still holds....printing money at the rate we do has to stop and we should refrain from starting new programs we cant afford.
aca happens to fall into this category.
as nice as it is to think about having it, I just believe that it would be a better deal for us if it was better planned and had we had more time to make it actually affordable.
any time the government tries managing a program its a downhill adventure, almost guaranreed to have a multitude of issues and unnecessary costs.
history generally supports that....look at the way social security and welfare have turned out.
two programs that actually do have purpose and they have become too fat to fly.
and that's the fault of not only our politicans, its just as much on the voters who listen too much to the network news and think its gospel.
its nice to have info, yes....but only a fool reads and believes it as fact.
