Poll: Americans Blame Republicans For Fiscal Cliff Impasse

If the U.S. government ends up careening off the "fiscal cliff," Republicans in Congress stand to shoulder most of the blame, according to a new poll released Tuesday.

Fifty-three percent of Americans said Republicans in Congress would be more to blame in that instance, according to a Pew Research Center poll conducted in the days following the election. Twenty-nine percent said that Obama would be more to blame, while 10 percent said both the president and Republicans would share blame.

Whats the matter,concerned you will have to pay your fair share. The President did say that right,everyone has to pay their fair share,he did say that,I heard him on at least two occasions say "everyone" should pay their fair share.

If the bottom 50% pay a 20% tax instead of a 2% tax, we could make the tax system more fair and collect twice as much revenue as we would if we gave these 400 wealthy americans a 30% AMT. Maybe a 20% AMT for the bottom 99% and a 30%AMT for the top 1% would balance the Obama bloated budget too.

Both sides are at fault:

GOP holds middle class tax cuts hostage in favor of the higher-income folks.

Dems won't make MEANINGFUL cuts to wasteful spending in Washington.

It's round and round down there, one giant motherf---ing circus of power plays while the rest of us suffer. It's a joke, and quite frankly, a puke-inducing realization that this is who/what runs our country. So much bloated waste while we pinch pennies to get from day to day.
