Why waste the taxpayers time and money. R.T. knew he was going to run for Gov. so why run for reelection of Minneapolis? He should have been a responsible citizen.

If R.T. is running for Gov. then he should consider a woman for his Lt. Gov. A perfect selection would be Chrissy Coleman from St.Paul.

He knows the voters of the state aren't as stupid as the voters of Minneapolis. His being elected Governor is far from a done deal.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. How do the fools in toilet town feel now knowing their mayor will be spending all of his time campaigning for governor instead of doing the job he was elected to do. Once again the voters in Minneapolis have shown the state the magnitude of their stupidity. By the way, hows that ethics investigation going for toilet towns other favorite politician, K. Ellison?

That really is clownish of Mayor Ryebread. His timing lacks sincerity. And I think it's a kick-in-the-teeth to every Minneapolitan who just voted for him for mayor.

What a joke: Under his leadership use of force, corruption, law suits and federal investigation of Minneapolis officers assigned to the Gang Strike Force are at a historical high. If Rybak can not even run Minneapolis as a Mayor - How can he expect to run the State of Mineosta? Stay in Minneapolis and clean up the Police department first.

Governor RT Cryback? Can't see it. Now if we can just get Chris Coleman and Lawrence Pogosticker in the race the DFL League of Scoundrels will be in full session.

There was a song about this once - it had the line - "take this job and shove it". A real class act - pitching the job that you were just elected for, and then immediately go off chasing the next.

We do not need this whack job being our Governor. No way so the crime in the entire state can be that of Minneapolis. I think not.

What a sleazeball. He doesn't announce his candidacy for Governor before the election because he knows that if he does then he becomes a lame duck and somebody else is elected. But if he fails in his bid to become Gov, then he has a cushy job to fall back on. In the meantime, he shirks his duties as Mayor to take his campaign to every corner of the state...on the taxpayer's dime, mind you. Isn't there something wrong with this picture, Minneapolitans?

Where is the outrage from all the arrogant DFL/liberals over this unbelievably self serving move by Rybak? Oh, of course, it's ok, he's DFL. Hypocrites.

He reminds me of the mayor of San Fransisco. Get ready with your wallets. You people of Minneapolis that voted for him, you get what you deserve...high crime, taxes and a scum of a city to live in. I feel sorry for the ones that were smart that didn't vote for him. If he becomes governor, the whole state will have to suffer.

So many candidates, with so much mediocrity. Maybe that's why everyone is looking for the new Ventura. PS ... let's all say a prayer for our guys and gals at Fort Hood.

Someone once told me never make a career move without something to fall back on. Too bad he thinks so little of the people of MPLS that he considers them a "backup plan." I don't care if you're a dem or a pub, that is some snake in the grass behavior by Ryback. Career politicians need to GO!
