Everyone, please remember the CherryPit group is not just a Private
House Party, but we are a Swingers Group of Friends that have been
gathering now for over 15 years.

While the Draconian methods employed by our Dictating Government is
trying to drive us more & more underground (I guess the same way they
drove the Jews & Christians underground back in the Biblical times.
And the way the Nazi's drove the Jews underground in WW II) We need to
show them that we are UNITED & STRONG. We will meet in PUBLIC places
to share our Friendship, Fellowship & everything else that they say
they enjoy doing, but I guess we are not allowed to do.

We have to show them that we are just like every other CITIZEN that
pays Taxes (and ultimately their Salary) and VOTES in elections. We
expect them to PROTECT & RESPECT our Freedoms & Choices to Worship,
Socialize and gather without harrasement or fear of persecution. So
come out & Join us on Fridays to Socialize in public where we show
them they can not stop us from gathering & socializing together

You idiot!
This isn't about your right to gather. if you want to put on your freak show in the park no one will deny you that right. if you want to run a sex business in a residential neighborhood you are breaking the law. Plain and simple. If all you really wanted was to hang out and have sex with each other the police would never have had a reason to come in. When money changes hands it becomes a business and is subject to more regulation. it is that way for everybody. Quit your damn whining

Actually it's not about it being a business at all. If this was a daycare, no one would care. If this was a guy who fixed computers and worked from home, no one would look twice. The fact that these people do what do is what's caused this moral outrage.

This is especially true since, according to the stories I saw, the club or whatever isn't a business. They are a bunch of people who meet at the house because they feel like it. Some busybody who can't mind her own business probably got suspicious and then started complaining about the cars and such.

I've never seen the house except on TV reports, so I don't know the parking set up. But it sounds from the articles that all the "goings on" were inside away from prying eyes, so it shouldn't have been an issue.

I suppose I could have complained about the family across the way in the last apartment complex I lived in because they were a family of well over 10 hispanics living in a two-bedroom apartment and every weekend the line of cars (in the fire lane) would block people in parking spaces and prevent access to the only exit gate in that side of the complex. Perhaps I should have suggested they were running a business, too. There was an awful lot of food and people for only a 2-bedroom apartment.

The other ironic thing about this rant is that you tell them to go "put on their freak show in the park" and it would be ok. And then you accuse them of just wanting to "hang out and have sex with each other" which is illegal to do in the open in a public park.

Such contradictions from those with such "moral outrage" over nothing.

next it will be the churches being raided and told what and where. then the private schools. it won't stop. big brother is getting way to nosy in things they no right nosing in.

the whole swinger controversy is exactly what you said, "a moral outrage". we never did block one persons driveway in duncanville. all of that was just excuses to get the ball rolling for harrassment. 99% of what's been reported is a bunch of trumped up bullcrap. All of this started with one neighbors whining and crying. and now he runs scared and won't even come out of his house if any of us is out there. LOL

thing is, we are never going to agree with those who don't agree with us and visa versa. but I see one thing that is common with those who opose us, is alot of anger, threats and meanness. and yet the swingers are compared to animals. I dare say it's the other way around.

it is Ok to disagree and we don't have to get along. But argue against what i actually said not what you want to twist it into.
For the record i don't disapprove of a sex oriented business or a swingers club. I do think that a sexually oriented business ( and money DID change hands) has no place in a residential nieghborhood.

I don't know much about swingers, since I've never been a part of that "scene." However, I think it doesn't matter who does what behind closed doors. Conversely, if the swinger group didn't want this type of attention, they might have considered being a bit more subdued about it. I mean...a website and all is a bit like shining a spotlight on yourself, especially when it supposedly lists the address.

I would think a smarter way to go about it, if you wanted the website, was make the site, but make it like the kids do their 'raves' nowadays. Make people join the site, and then when they 'pass' the screening or whatever, they get the address e-mailed to them directly. Might have saved a lot of grief.

How could this "club" still be in business? I thought it was closed for good?
The key word here is "club". We need a definition of club. I mean, I can have the local car club over to my house and park some 40-50 Vettes around the hood and who's to say anything? Is it illegal to have friends over? No. Is it illegal to park in a street? Not in my city.

So what is the difference if the same 40-50 cars parked around the hood are average cars? If sex is not illegal, whos to say anyhting? They aren't hurting anyone but themselves.

Now, is it illegal to have 100 bottles of booze? No. Unless you have them all in 1 vehicle. Your not suppose to carry more than1 gal of whiskey and a case of beer, or 2 gals of whiskey and nothing else. However, if 50 people each bring 1 bottle as a "gift", what par tof that hints at a bar?

The police and the city are flexing their muscle here. What they are doing is proving privacy has no place in America. I agree the place is repulsing. But who am I to say? What have I done to earn the right to judge them?

Until people begin urinating in the streets and yards, throwing trash, bottles and cans in yards, burning off in the wee hours of the morning, or something that actually disturbs the area, then I say let them be.

You hear about this crap all the time in lower greenville, but noone has ever got in a hurry to flush those bars out.

The simple fact is, they haven't done anything wrong. And until the cops can put a witness on the stand, they have no evidence. Unless they themselves have been there personally.

If you have ever looked at the photos on the 'Cherry Pit' web site, look at the panties hanging up on the wall, above the bar. Some of them look big enough to stop a dragster. Obviously, some people have no choice but to swing....WHEW!

they are hookers, they just do it for "play money" because no one would pay them in real money.
